This impressive fortress was a base used in the military to hold off the hardest attacks and sieges.\n\nNote: The transportation will take around 2 hours from your location.\n- Nizwa Souk - The site of one of the oldest souk in the country, this extensive marketplace is dedicated mostly to fruit and vegetables, meat and fish, all of which are housed in separate blocks behind the great\n- Al Hamra - Al Hamra is a 400-year-old town in the region Ad Dakhiliyah, in northeastern Oman. The town is thriving and lively but holds a secret. The 400-year-old town popped up around an amazing abandoned village. The Al Hamra ruins are estimated to be between 700-1000 years old and are left completely untouched.\n- Misfat al Abriyyin - Misfat Al Abriyeen is a unique mountainous village located 1,000 m above sea level on the mountain foothills surrounding wilayat Al Hamra in Al Dhakhiyla Governorate. The village derives its name from the Al Abri tribe, who originally come from Misfat Al Abriyeen and Al Hamra.\n\nNote: The transportation will take around 90 min to come back to Muscat.

Fantastic Trip - Yaqoob was a very personable and knowledgeable guide! It felt more like a day with a good friend than it did with a guide. I had a fantastic experience, wish breathtaking views. I really enjoyed the experience as a solo experience!

Perfect experience, go for it! - I spent 6 days with Global Safari to discover Oman, I can only recommend it as it is one of the best tour I had in my life. The team is fantastic (a big thanks to all, with a specific thanks for my guide Abdullah). It was more to see the beautiful sites of Oman, it was to discover its culture and customs and to share beautiful moments. I can only recommend this company and this tour, it was incredible. The team is fantastic, a big thank you to everyone and especially my guide Abdullah. I couldn't have hoped for better, it was more than perfect. I discovered much more about Oman than the wonderful landscapes. Thanks again. I could not expect more as it was so perfect!
