Great tour - recommended - We had a great day with Khalid. It makes such a difference when a guide is prepared to answer our endless stream of questions and Khalid did just that. A well paced, well planned day. We learnt a lot of history and a lot about Omani life. Thanks Khalid!

Private tour islamic forts - I recently had the pleasure of experiencing a private guided tour of Islamic forts with my family, and it was an unforgettable journey through history. From the moment we met our guide, it was clear that we were in expert hands. The guide was not only incredibly knowledgeable but also engaging, tailoring the experience to the interests and ages of everyone in our group. A special thank to Mousab!

Personalized experience with a local guide - A MUST - My private tour with Ahmed was fantastic! He's a skilled driver and a wealth of knowledge about Oman and Nizwa. We loved how he tailored my itinerary in real-time to my specific needs and shared insights into local culture. This is my first time in Oman and he made it a completely fantastic experience. Definitely want to come back to Oman.

Awesome tour guide! - I recently booked two private day trips with Oman Landscape Tours, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the experience. The first trip focused on Oman’s rich history, covering Nizwa, Nizwa Souq, Nizwa Fort, Bahla Fort, and Jabreen Castle. Each stop was fascinating, and the tour gave me a deep appreciation for the country’s cultural heritage. The second trip was tailored to my request to have lunch at the Anantara Hotel in the mountains, and it included a visit to the historical village of Al-Sugra - Sayq. Reaching this remote village was challenging, as the roads are narrow and covered with crushed rocks, requiring a special vehicle. Thankfully, the driver, Said, was exceptional—highly experienced, skilled, and knowledgeable about the terrain. This tour is perfect for those who enjoy a bit of adventure, and I was thrilled by how smoothly everything went. Oman Landscape Tours made both trips unforgettable, and I’m truly grateful for their professionalism and attention to detail. The price ratio is great, especially in comparison to other companies. Highly recommended!

Recommended tour outside of Muscat - Booked this tour through Viator and when I started writing to them asking for the details of my guide for pickup, they responded immediately. Our guide, Khalil also reached out to me via WhatsApp the day before my tour to reconfirm my pickup time and pickup location (my hotel), which is what I always appreciate to ensure that everything starts off smoothly. Khalil is very professional, alert and knowledgeable. He also ensured that our needs were met. A nice surprise was fresh Omani bread that he treated us to at the Nizwa Fort, which was freshly made. This tour was relaxing and as it’s private, we were able to move at our own pace. Khalil did not once rush us and allowed us to have as much exploring time as we would like. All in all I would recommend this tour, especially if it’s your first time to Oman.

A trip through historical parts of Oman - My friends and I had a lovely day exploring beautiful Nizwa and Jebel Al Akhdar with our guide Amer. He looked after us very well, guided us through the Nizwa Soukh, advising on the best things to purchase (completely optional, of course) we then moved on the Nizwa castle and fort, Amer also helped us take some lovely photos, he then took us to a lovely Iranian restaurant before we moved on to Jebel Al Akhdar the “Green mountain” where we enjoyed a cooler temperature and saw rose fields and a traditional rose water factory as well as fruit orchards. On the way back we stopped at a UNESCO heritage irrigation site, very interesting. I would recommend this tour.
