This unforgettable tour to the amazing Lysefjord is absolutely a must if you visit Stavanger! The 42 kilometer long fjord is flanked by steep mountains, some rising over 1000 meters. Visiting the fjord on board a seaworthy RIB is the most exciting way to explore the fjord from sea level. The tour includes stops on the most beautiful parts of the fjord, including the famous Pulpit Rock (Preikestolen). You will be taken good care of by our experienced captains who have sailed in these water for many years. You get to experience some of the most amazing nature Norway has to offer. The tour starts and ends in the centre of Stavanger and is two hours long. Bring your camera!

Fast and exciting boat ride - It was an amazing experience, the boat ride was very exciting, fast and adventurous. Our guide (Axel Rose) was very fun, we heard interesting stories and jokes about the places we visited.

Great rib ride, highly recommend it! - Amazing! Managed to book this morning for the afternoon rib ride with the rest of the family, 5 of us aged 12-52. Really lucky to have Erik as our captain/tour guide as he made the trip great - he’s funny, friendly and informative. Lucky enough to see a seal too.
Definitely a must do trip if you’re able to!

Nice experience - Nice Experience with Aksel. Even if it was rainy Aksel made us enjoy the tour and the landscapei. Very good guide. A little bit expensive (but we are in Norway…)

An exciting ride - What an exciting and thrilling ride that gets you up close and personal with the fjord and pulpit rock. The music and good banter from the skipper makes it great fun while also making you feel safe.

Absolutely worth the money! - We took our kids (9 and 6) on the 1hr 45min rib trip and had a fantastic time - Eirik our captain was a great guide telling us about the various sights we passed, and made the journey out to the fjord with just the right amount of turns and bumps to make it exciting but not scary for the kids.
We were warm and snug in the dry suits provided, despite a heavy rain shower at one point - recommend taking them up on the loan of goggles as the rain is very stingy on your face/eyes when going at speed!

Beware of overbooking - The tour company overbooked our tour. They gave priority to those who booked through the cruiseline rather than those of us who booked either directly through the tour company or through a different third party. They didn't tell us until we showed up at the meeting location, and then made us wait in the rain for 30 minutes while someone came to give us a refund. By then, all other rib boat tours in the area were sold out. I'm only giving them 2 stars because the employees who handled it were very polite and apologetic.

Didn’t happen! - Didn’t happen. Company apparently oversold spots and held us aside until all cruise ship passengers received attention and then told us our spots were canceled and our tickets would be refunded with a vague explanation as to when to expect the refund.
