Day 1: Chiang Mai – Doi Inthanon – Mae Chaem – Mae Sariang

Chiang Mai - Begin your morning with a refreshing ride out of Chiang Mai town, taking the easy back road. After about 70 km, you’ll reach the foothills of the Himalayan mountain range.

Doi Inthanon - Ascend to the Roof of Thailand at Doi Inthanon National Park, the highest point in the country. Enjoy breathtaking views of Thailand from this vantage point.

Mae Chaem - Continue on the winding road down to Mae Chaem district and visit the Bo Keao Pine Tree Garden Research Center for a delightful coffee amidst the pine trees.

Mae Sariang - Arrive in the evening at Mae Sariang district, a charming little town near the Myanmar border. Mae Sariang showcases the westernmost area where Lanna culture and architecture blend seamlessly with Burmese/Shan influences. Spend the night in Mae Sariang.

Day 2 - Mae Sariang – Mae Hong Son – Pai

Mae Hong Son - In the morning, participate in offering food to the monks, a Thai Buddhist practice believed to bring good karma and luck. Then, follow the winding mountain road to Mae Hong Son.

Karen Long Neck Village - Visit the Karen Longneck village, a highlight of the trip. Along the way, stop at viewpoints with stunning mountain scenery to avoid getting motion sickness from the ride.

Day 3 - Pai – Samoeng – Chiang Mai

Pai - Embark on a motorcycle journey from the tranquil town of Mae Hong Son to the bohemian haven of Pai, promising an unforgettable ride through Northern Thailand’s diverse landscapes. Start your day in Mae Hong Son, surrounded by misty mountains, and visit the iconic Wat Phra That Doi Kong Mu. Navigate the twists and turns leading to Pai, passing through scenic mountain roads lined with lush greenery. Stop at Pai Canyon for panoramic views and an exhilarating ride along its narrow ridges. Enjoy Pai’s relaxed charm, exploring its vibrant markets, quirky cafes, and artistic vibe. The journey from Mae Hong Son to Pai is not just a motorcycle adventure; it’s a passage through landscapes that shift from serene temples to thrilling canyons, creating a two-wheeled tale of exploration and excitement.

Day 4 - Pai-Mae Taman-Chiang Mai

Pai - Today’s destination is Pai, a picturesque town with the scenic Pai River flowing through its eastern part. There are plenty of evening bars and cafes to choose from.

Chiang Mai - After breakfast, set off to cover approximately 200 km to the ancient city of Chiang Mai. There’s much to see and a lot of road to cover on this fantastic route. The roads seem tailor-made for touring bikes, featuring numerous twists, turns, and elevation changes. Some might call it motorcycling “Nirvana.” The journey will pass through or near several National Parks before arriving in the ancient Siamese walled city of Chiang Mai in the late afternoon. Take short coffee breaks en route as decided by the tour leader. Have lunch and return the bike as per the tour program.

Our guides, with their extensive experience riding across Thailand, are well familiar with its roads, landscape, and native culture.

For those planning to ride with a passenger, please select the Pillion option.

  • A current valid passport is required on the day of travel
  • The itineraries may change as we make improvements to our tours. Our brochures are updated when tour itineraries change or the need arises. We reserves the right to amend the tour route due to road works, weather conditions, or our new research information on routes. No refunds will be given due to any route change.

  • We strongly recommends that all protective clothing be worn. We provides all motorcycle protective gear. If you require any special size clothing it would be preferable to bring the protective clothing with you. In Thailand motorcycle helmets are compulsory; boots, protective clothing, and gloves for riders and passengers are strongly advised
