Great dive! - My son and I went scuba diving with Johan as our guide. He was great! It was my son’s 7th dive and he was very patient with him. We saw a ton of fish and a couple of turtles.

Great Dive Team! - I have been with Red Sail Sports in Aruba since I took my first dive course (13 years ago) and have been scuba diving with them since. I go to Aruba once a year for a few weeks, and have my open water as well as advanced open water certification. The dive masters, instructors, and captains are extremely knowledgeable, detailed, and fun loving. Ivy and staff who do all the bookings are truly humble people always willing to work with. I highly recommend Red Sail Sports Aruba ! with all this said i have over 240 dives with them, every one better than the last!

Another great dive! - Had a great 2 tank dive. I wanted to finally see the Antilla and it worked out great. Professional crew, treated us like the experienced divers the 3 of us were. Really enjoyed it. They let us pick the 2nd dive site and it did not disappoint. Will be back again!!

Always smooth sailing with Red Sail Aruba! - We had a great experience booking a 2 tank scuba with Red Sail Aruba. Booking was easy but I had a couple issues on my end (user error) and ended up a cancelling. Jen was very friendly, helpful, and patient with me when I called to rebook a few minutes later. Johan was our diver master and he made the dive fun and safe. Cliff was the captain and the ride was smooth sailing. I would definitely recommend a dive with Red Sail.

Aruba - RedSail Two tank dive - Ok first, the good. Check in and equipment assignment was efficient. Everyone was nice, the boat captain was stern for safety, but that is good. The divemaster was familiarizing a new divemaster on the routes, so we had two divemasters for a group of 6 customers. Both divemasters were knowledgeable and friendly, enjoyable to dive with and pointed out interesting, rare, unique fish to us. I was buddied up with another solo diver for safety. Equipment was good with exception of the air hose lines, several had cracks completely around outer shell and small leakage from low pressure line connector to BCD and I could constantly hear bubbles coming from somewhere by the first stage. Thankfully the leaks were small and did not significantly affect my air supply. Both tanks were filled to 3000 psi. The disappointing: The dives were shallow, which is fine because there was plenty of sea life to see. The first dive maybe 50 ft max, the second dive 25 ft max, both were wrecks. RedSail seemed to have a strict maximum of 40 minutes dive time, so it felt quick to me, not even sure it was 40 minutes, but I didn't bring a dive computer to check. All divers in our group were fairly experienced and each had 1300 to 1500 psi left at the end of the dive, so it was disappointing to be told we had to go up with so much air remaining. We could have easily stayed down an hour at the shallow location. On dives I made in Curacao and Bonaire in the previous two weeks, our divemasters let us use more of our air, staying down 50+ and 60+ minutes per dive depending on our remaining air supply. That's probably an advantage of booking with a small operator rather than a big operator like RedSail. The bad: My dive buddy was always kinda hanging back, diving a bit shallower, maybe 5 to 10 feet above and 10 - 15 feet behind me. He seemed more like a follower and didn't want to lead, so I just lead, following the lead divemaster. It was a little tough keeping track of my buddy since he was always above and behind me, but I would turn and check that he was there periodically. Toward the end of the second dive the group was about to leave the dive area and return to the boat and I realized my dive buddy was missing. The dive masters were obviously not doing a headcount because they thought the group was all there and started to leave after everyone there signalled "OK". So I had to grab one of them and signal that my dive buddy was missing. We swam back and found him following another group, got his attention and carried on. It was just a bit disconcerting that the divemasters didn't realize they had lost a diver. I realize that's the whole point of the buddy system (and it worked) but you'd still think that divemasters would do a rudimentary head count before leaving an area. Nothing went horribly wrong like it could have (due to leaky airlines and lost diver), so I still had a decent time, saw lots of species of fish I wanted/expected to see. Everyone else seemed to be happy with the dive as well. I wouldn't say you should avoid RedSail, more so this review is for RedSail to see my feedback, maybe replace some airhoses, get divemasters doing a rudimentary headcount, maybe allowing us to stay down longer when possible. Its not as if there was another tour immediately departing after our return.
