Chef Pinckney - The company was outstanding, the food was magnificent, and the chef professional and down to Earth. In a short time, we made a meal and sat at the table like Family. Will definitely do it again and again.

An Amazing Experience, and Great for Kids Too - My 12 year old son and I were headed to Aruba and I was looking for unique experiences to share with him. I had done cooking classes in other parts of the world and they’ve always been so so great. I found Kari through a quick google search of cooking classes in Aruba. I reached out to her to see if she could accommodate a vegetarian (me) and a 12 year old son. She quickly replied “Of course” and provided her availability for a class for just me and my son. Fast forward to the night of the class, as my son and I were driving back to the hotel, he said, “That was a really good experience. I liked it.” Coming from a 12 year old, that should say enough. But I did too. Kari welcomed us into her home, shared stories of herself, Caribbean cuisine and was interested in learning more about us. Kari had us both involved in preparing five different dishes. Her son also helped and friended my son. They took quick breaks to play football (or soccer as we call it) or go for a quick walk outside. The food was delicious, each dish made with a combination of spices I’d never think to pair together. Kari introduced us to several ingredients/vegetables we’ve never heard of before. The overall experience, planning and spending time with Kari in her home for this cooking class, was absolutely amazing. A must do!!

Laugh, learn, experience Carribbean culture and cuisine, make new friends! - Kari truly welcomes you as a guest in her home. It was all hands on deck with all 8 of us pitching in with the prep and cooking, sharing a little of our lives, and coming together across different life experiences over cooking and enjoying a truly delicious Caribbean feast! We met some amazing folks. An unforgettable highlight of our trip to a beautiful country.

A wonderful evening with a special person - I was so lucky to have this experience. Yes I learned some cooking skills and had some wonderful food, five stars all around. Kari really knows her stuff and is a very good cook. But that’s not why you should go. I went to spend an evening with a very special person, in her home, and learn more about the real Aruba. We were also very lucky since there were only three of us. We had dinner at the table with Kari and her son Elijah and visited as though we were old friends. It was a special experience.

Fun and food with Kari!! - Kari was a wonderful host and became a new friend. We had a party of 10 and she delighted all of us with her conversation, music, dancing and of course delicious food. Caribbean cuisine was a little out of the box for most of us but I can guarantee that, with the help of Kari's instructions, we will be adding it to our menus. We will be visiting again next time we are in Aruba.

Pumpkin Surprise - The food was very good. The experience was nice. My only reservation would be not to have a sick child in house. That was the only turn off. I thoroughly enjoyed learning how to season and cook Caribbean food
