Went on the self guided... - Went on the self guided tour and loved it. Briefing was informative by the operator who had great tips too, and really helped us novice kayakers. We could go at our own pace which was fantastic too. Drink and a snack provided. Only suggestion would be to wear a wide brim hat with a strap, the winds are gusty at times. Highly recommended - even for those who are not super fit and on a nutragrain box. Definitely would book again!

Kayak experience - Excellent communication and friendly greeting on arrival Enjoyed the paddle even though we went way past the streams and had to back track Loved the pelican island on our way out on the lake Loads of stingrays to watch floating past us

An experienced not to be missed - The lake is amazing and very shallow so you are never more than thigh deep. Moving into the Everglades was quiet and peaceful. There is a lot of paddling but worth it.

Great morning in a unique environment - My 2 children and I thoroughly enjoyed this trip. The length was just right to get a feel for the Everglades system and find stingrays in the lake. The equipment was very good quality and Matt made the kayaking easy and fun.

Glorious morning kayaking the Everglades. - My husband and I enjoyed a glorious morning kayaking through the Everglades in a double kayak along with 2 other couples and our very informative guide. Our guide pointed out many stingrays including several whip rays. Great paddling workout with plenty of breaks to learn about the habit and wildlife. Such a meditative way to explore and discover Noosa.

Best way to experience the Everglades wildlife - Great kayaking, in a small group led by Jan whose kayaking expertise and knowledge of the wildlife and heritage of the area was superb. Saw some stingrays, wedge tail eagles, terns fishing, ospreys, herons and more. Highly recommend taking the guided option to get the full experience, thanks!

A great afternoon on the water. - Really friendly knowledgeable guide. Good group size. Suitable paddling for beginners, but interesting for more experienced paddlers. A fun afternoon.

So-so experience - Not what we had hoped for, lake was very shallow and we spent more time walking the kayak through ow spot than actually padding. Staff member was nice, gave good route directions and we did see stingrays.

Beautiful nature, but group experience needs work - The nature was stunning, and our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. But our kayak was much slower than the others, despite proper technique. Even if that hadn’t been the case, it would have been nice to get some help or attention instead of feeling left behind. There was no introduction to connect the group, and every time we caught up, the others were already moving on. It’s not that he didn’t try to give us attention or include us – it just didn’t really work out. He clearly knows a lot, but to make this a 4/5-star tour it would take more group interaction and better pacing so everyone feels included. For very experienced kayakers this might be perfect, for others I’d recommend going at your own pace.
