• Ribeira dos Caldeirões - Upon arrival, personal equipment will be distributed, followed by a brief 15-minute walk to the first stop for an initial safety briefing. The journey continues with a short uphill scramble to the second safety briefing, where participants will learn how to rappel. The adventure proceeds with a 10-minute ascent to the canyon’s starting point, where the excitement begins!

The Canyoning Experience: At the canyon’s summit, the second phase of the adventure commences. Participants can enjoy several optional jumps (ranging from 2 to 7 meters in height), a natural slide, and some abseils (between 5 and 15 meters in height). The return journey follows the initial path back to the starting point.

After the canyoning adventure, a well-deserved lunch awaits. The group will head to the village of Furnas to savor the traditional dish “Cozido das Furnas” at a local restaurant. A short walk to the Caldeiras Vulcânicas will offer a closer view of the fumarolic fields and hot springs.

The day concludes with a visit to Terra Nostra Botanical Garden or Poça Dona Beija, where participants can unwind in the soothing thermal waters.
