heaven on earth - best holiday ever made even better by this trip. Food at lunch was good value for the money. The choices were even better. Pedro was informative and amusing and also made a detour to the tea plantation. many thanks and hope to see you next year.

Great tour, brilliant guide... A fantastic way to see the island! - We booked an 8 hour 4x4 tour with Pedro. Upon meeting us at our hotel in Furnas, he asked us where we wanted to go and what we wanted to see for the day. As we had already seen a lot of the west side of the island he suggested we see the southeast and Nordeste regions. And so we visited lovely little towns, went offroad through beautiful Japanese Cedar forests and stunning mountain ranges, saw amazing coastal views, waterfalls and parks… and blue hydrangeas were absolutely everywhere! What a truly picturesque and varied island! Pedro also arranged for us to have a really nice buffet lunch at a local restaurant. It was an incredible day out! He was a fantastic guy and his knowledge and passion about Sao Miguel and the Azores as a whole shone through! He was also very helpful in assisting my dad (who has Parkinson’s) in and out of the Jeep and with his seat belt etc, which was lovely. We honestly can’t recommend Pedro enough. He will enhance your trip no end and we will be recommending him to any of our friends should they decide to visit Sao Miguel in the future. Lewis family

Great Private tour experience - Pedro was great! He took us exactly where we wanted to go in a safe and time effective manner. He was born on the island and has great insight. I would definitely take a tour with him again.

Wonderful tour with a wonderful guide - We had a wonderful tour of the east side of the island with a super tasty lunch at a local place. Pedro is a super friendly and knowledgeable . He took us to see the best Nordeste has to offer: unspoiled nature,Lakes, Sea coast, waterfalls, botanic gardens etc. Thank you Pedro for an unforgettable experience.

A great day out! - The full day Nordeste tour was great! Just like the other tours I did with Pedro, this one was full of stunning views everywhere I looked and of course having the Jeep made the experience that much better! He made the adventure fun but kept things safe. I cannot recommend Pedro enough to show you around the beautiful island he calls home!

One of the best days! - We enjoyed the trip, hiking, visiting the faial de Terra cascade, stopping at beautiful miradouros, the best tour guide, A+++, highly entertaining and experienced. We had a fantastic time.
