Great North Cape tour! - What a fantastic trip, the bus driver/ guide Natasha was awesome, great commentary, North Cape amazing, and plenty of time to take it all in, Sami so was interesting as was the so at Svarsvag. Would thoroughly recommend this tour

The top of Europe is magnificent - Everything worked out. The weather was clear, even a bit warm. The views were extraordinary. To enter the visitors center was far too expensive, so I decided to have a coffee in Honningsvåg, a quaint town a little south of Nordkapp. I then arranged a cruise with Hurligruten to Svolvaer in the Lofoten islands. Truly a beautiful experience. This part of the world is a feast for the eyes.

Nice excursion but few improvement points? - Bus ride with English/German speaking "band" was hilarious: so funny and lovely to listen to. Too bad that our bus (with almost only Dutch people) could not listen to a Dutch translation instead of the German version. Maybe a tip for trip advisor to also make Dutch version and adapt the versions to the relevant bus? In our bus no Germans so too bad we got this translation instead of a Dutch one. Visit to the Sami was very disappointing: 1 tent with Sami man, couple of elk and souvenirs house with cute Sami grandma but that was it...more of suggested. Visit to North Cape was great! We had clear weather and a bit later even the sun!

Dizzying experience! - Exceptional experience: a magical place at the end of the world. Provide warm clothes (ski jacket in August! 12 degrees) vertiginous view. Interesting information center with film. Only downside: almost no French support like most sites in Norway. Meeting with the Sami tribe is not essential. But the encounter with reindeer is “cracking”!

Scams - This was the worst tour I've ever done. Besides the fact that you get no answer at all from the organizer of wowatours (graham), you also don't get what you paid for. In the bus a tape is played, you get 10 min time to explore the fishing village on your own, 10 min at the sami tribe (are 2 people dressed for a photo moment no more, no explanation nothing). On the center itself had a tight hour (58 min) to walk around. Not even being able to see the movie. And on the way back the driver of the bus did not know how the blower of the bus worked so with full fogged windows, the narrow mountain route driven (life threatening). Have booked this tour via here (tripadviser) but the tour is available at the tourist office of Honingsvag 30 euros pp cheaper appeared afterwards, so we feel heavily ripped off by tripadviser and wowatours. It's that I can give 1 star because actually it deserves 0 stars. When sent photos are taken in the tourist office converted you are cheaper places.

The North Cape, Reindeer and Sami Families Tour debacle - Having made the booking in February I wanted confirmation of who we would be meeting in Honningsvag. I made numerous phone calls to the UK number provided with no reponse whatsoever. On trying to download tickets not successful. Two days before arriving in Honningsvag the tour operator cancelled the tour with no explanation. On a positive note full refund was made promptly. I would be very loathe to make another tour booking as the whole experience was stressful.

Not happy - We could not go on the tour as described as we were never given a departure time. I asked for that but no one ever responded. When we got off ship we were told we had a 2:30 departure returning at 6 pm but we already had a dinner reservation made in August 2023 for the Eden restaurants on Celebrity Apex so while we may have been brought back on time there was no time to shower and change to be at our reservation. We were very disappointed there were only two departure times 1 and 2:30. Why not after the shipped docked?. I will say that the North Cape tours representative that helped us found a departure leaving in a few minutes with space available so we transferred over to that tour although the Sami Village was not included. I find it better to deal directly with the tour operator and not an intermediary like Viator

Unorganized and Chaotic North Cape Excursion - North Cape tours are the most unorganized tour company I have ever used. No communication from them on tour time. At the site where we boarded the bus, it was totally chaotic. Boarding the bus was a push and shove ordeal. After visiting North Cape, no return bus and different times given. Very nerve racking! I feel that they didn’t care about our tour to North Cape. I feel we should be given compensation back for this horrific tour. We were NOT HAPPY with this whole process from start to finish!!
