Fun Adventure in Norfolk - We had a great time at the Zoo and Battleship Wisconsin. The pass was a hit with the family!

Norfolk - The battleship Wisconsin was very interesting. The fact that two men that had served on the ship were onboard to answer questions made it even more interesting. This is a great part of history. The zoo is small but very clean and made a great combination to keep all ages happy.

Went for funeral and extended trip for a few days to take in some sights. - It was a great deal my husband, myself and our granddaughter enjoyed ourselves.
Would purchase again when we visit Virginia

Guns ablazing - The Wisconsin is an amazing ship with plenty of history and much to see. We were with a senior bus group and handicap access is very limited, however, if your are able to walk, climb, crawl it is worthwhile. The ship is nearly 900 feet long and the view from the top deck is amazing. The size of the guns and ammo are incredible.

Entertaining a guest from out of state. Eye opening and overall a great time. - Norfolk Zoo
It was a rainy day but that didn't stop us from having a great time. First we went to the Visitor's Center to pick up our Fun Pass. The staff there was very helpful and friendly.
Then off to the Norfolk Zoo. It was not crowded because it was a weekday. I enjoyed the reptile exhibit the most because there were many reptiles I had never seen before.
I was disappointed in other areas. The Bison enclosure was messy, overgrown, run down, and full of geese. There was only one bison (not sure if there were more). The Orangutan looked so depressed. It made me sad. He just laid there in a pile on the floor in the corner. He only moved his finger. I have never seen an orangutan look so sad.
It did seem that in many exhibits there was either only one animal or none. I understand that some of them may have been out of sight, but most of them?
USS Wisconsin
We then went to the Battleship Wisconsin. It was so large yet below decks was so compact. I could see how someone could get lost or turned around down there. I am amazed that our soldiers were able to mentally and physically withstand it and fight a war! I commend those soldiers. I appreciated all the information provided as well as the retired Navy who were there ready to answer our questions. I learned so much and felt so proud and amazed of our Navy and the Marines who served on board, as well as those who serve as a whole. Thank you for your service!

My #1 favorite of the visit - The combo pass allows you to visit Nauticus, the Battleship & the zoo.My favorite of the three was the Battleship. It was amazing. I enjoyed the zoo also.

Battleship Wisconsin an AWESOME EXPERIENCE - We were only able to do the battleship tour because the weather was too wet and cold for the zoo. We left to go back to NC the next day so we forfeited the money for the zoo. The battleship and Nauticus experience was awesome. The kids and adults loved it!!!

Watch out for special events - Was disappointed that I booked VA Zoo for Sunday and ticket couldn’t be used due to special event. Had to pay addition $25.

Disappointed in pick up place - I’d give no stars if I was able too. We bought this went to the place we were suppose to pick up tickets and it was closed “due to sickness”. I have called and left a message but have not heard anything in response. So we did not get our tickets we paid for and had to pay again to get into things we had already paid for!! So upset. I’d love a refund.
