Visit Kruja and Shkodra

Kruja Castle - Embark on a walking tour within the castle’s wall. Visit various sites, including the watchtower, the Olive Tree of Skanderbeg, underground secret tunnels, and the remnants of religious places like Teqes, Sultan Mehmet Mosque, and much more. The castle’s pinnacle offers the most breathtaking view of the city.

Rozafa Castle - Continue your journey to Shkodra. You will first visit the castle of Rozafa, where the 2000 year old history of the city is hidden in the walls of the castle. Enjoy the walking tour of the castle and the museum.

Shkodra Lake - Enjoy a traditional lunch in Shiroka neighborhood by the lake of Shkodra.

Shkoder - Explore the cities boulevard before heading to Theth. Overnight in Theth.

Explore Theth Village and the Albanian Alps

Theth - Wake up in the beautiful and remote mountain village located in the Albanian Alps called Theth. Visit the Church of Theth and the Reconciliation Tower while enjoying our walk around the village.

Grunasi Waterfall - Find the beautiful Grunas waterfall, hidden in the mountains that surround the village. A 20 minutes hike is necessary to reach the waterfall.

Blue Eye of Theth - Follow the river and take a 45 minutes hike through the jungle to reach the Blue Eye of Theth. Throughout the hike, you’ll have the chance to pause and enjoy numerous stunning natural spots along the way

Boge - Returning to Tirana, during the road by the Alps, you will have a few stops in locations with excellent panoramic views.

Pay a visit to Berat City. Local wine tasting.

Belsh - Today your journey commences in Tirana. In Belsh town you’ll pause for a brief coffee beside the largest of the towns 84 lakes.

Berat Castle - Ascend the castle hill for a visit to the castle itself. On the walking tour of the castle we will learn the history of this ancient city while visiting several sites. Enjoy a traditional Albanian lunch with a local family residing within the castle.

Berat - Descend to the city center and explore the renowned Mangalemi neighborhood.
Explore significant landmarks such as: The city gate and former Pasha’s residence, The Sultan’s Mosque, Berat’s bustling boulevard, and more.

Gjirokastra Bazaar - Your first stop upon arriving in Gjirokastra will be the bustling Gjirokastra Bazaar, a vibrant marketplace where local crafts, textiles, and traditional Albanian products beckon visitors.

Gjirokaster Castle - Ascend the winding road leading to the magnificent Gjirokastra Castle, a true architectural marvel.

Kalaja e Lëkurësit - Ascend to the highest hill in Saranda and visit the Lekursi Castle, overlooking the city. From the castle you will experience one of the best views of the Albanian Riviera.

Explore the Ksamil Islands and the Albanian Riviera

Ksamil - Very close to Saranda you will come across Ksamil Village. Experience the breathtaking shoreline of the village, encompassing three islands situated just 100 meters from the coast. Enjoy your time in the sea.

Butrint National Park - Discover the ancient Greek Colony and Roman city of Butrinti, a UNESCO protected site.

Porto Palermo - As you journey back to Tirana, your route will take you through the enchanting Albanian Riviera. Revel in the awe-inspiring landscapes where hills meet the shoreline. Take a break at various beaches, including Porto Palermo.

Dhermi - Stop by Dhermi beach, the most popular beach in Albania and enjoy its lively atmosphere with music and people relaxing in the sun and having fun.

From here, you will return to Tirana.

Wonderful Albania Highlight - We had an amazing 5-day private tour that was perfectly organized. Accommodation: The hotels were excellent, comfortable, and full of local charm. Our stay in Theth is memorable with homemade breakfast including homemade butter and pettulla (fried dumpling). Driver/Tour Guide: Henri, our guide was outstanding—knowledgeable, friendly, and a great driver. He made our trip truly special. Lots of interesting insight he shared and nice conversation along the way. Highlights: We explored vibrant cities, stunning landscapes, traditional markets, beautiful beaches, and a renowned national park and UNESCO World Heritage sites. Each day was filled with unforgettable experiences. Overall, this tour was a fantastic way to see the best of the country in just five days. Highly recommended!

From Theth to Ksamil! - We had a wonderful time with out guide Henri, he was very patient with us and sent us to several sites extra from the itinerary. We saw all the best sites: Theth,the riviera, Gjirokastra, Ksamil etc. I highly recommend taking this 5 day journey. Worth every penny!!!!!!

Pleasant 5 days from north to south - Great tour to have an overview of Albania from north to south. Those were very busy days, covering a large number of sites. Thanks to the energy and passion of our guide Henri, those days were very pleasant. Henri has passion for his country and was flexible to accommodate our needs and expectations.

Albania all the way! - We customised our family trip to Albania with this company and really enjoyed it! Nolan (our guide, local expert, chauffeur, good humoured all-rounder) demonstrated resourcefulness beyond his experience by supporting us throughout the tour, ensuring it was a smooth process as we transitioned between locations without complaint. Nolan is open to foreigners and full of helpful tips and pieces of information related to the sights and happenings. We felt confident as he is prompt, attentive and knows his way around. He would offer WiFi hotspots, meal suggestions, alternative routes to optimise time and destinations and reassured us as visitors to a new country. We learned a lot about local practices and saw unexplored and off the beaten track areas with Nolan. Wish you all the success ahead as you share beautiful elements of your country with others - and balance your education and work with skill.

Best of Albania in 5 days! - We had limited days and wanted to visit some specific places which were included in this tour.. Theth was one of them.. From North to South was definitely an adventure.. Hotels were great, the stops were scenic.. Berat was one of my favourites.! From long drives, to hiking and wine tasting.. Mountains to beaches.. This tour included a lil bit of everything.. Henri from the start till the end made sure we were well taken care off.. Even though we were on the road for long hours, the journey was comfortable.. An extra star for Henri's driving skills!!! We had enough of time at every place.. Thanks to Henri - Never a dull moment! We had the best time!!

The best of Albania in 5 days! - We had limited days and wanted to visit some specific places which were included in this tour.. Theth was one of them.. From North to South was definitely an adventure.. Hotels were great, the stops were scenic.. Berat was one of my favorites.. A special moment was lunch with a local family at the castle, they were the sweetest people.. Food was amazing! From long drives to hiking and wine tasting.. Mountains to beaches.. This tour included a lil bit of everything.. Henri, from the start till the end made sure we were well taken care of.. Even though we were on the road for long hours, the journey was comfortable.. 7 days of wonderful experience in Albania - We had a wonderful trip with Albania travel and Tours. Our guide 'Nolan' was so helpful and we were able to cover all the places as per Itenerary without missing any places.The team was very helpful in customizing the itinerary as per our wish and the trip was well planned and executed.

Wonderful 5 Day Journey Across Albania - My family booked the 5-day tour so that we could make the most of our time and see as much of Albania as possible. Henri was a great tour guide and worked hard to ensure that we were comfortable and enjoyed our journey. He was informative and took us to places we would not have discovered on our own. We highly recommend this tour to anyone who loves exploring and seeing all that Albania has to offer.

Amazing Five Days in Albania - My family and I chose this excursion based on the length of time and the ability to tour the country. Henri was our guide and did an amazing job. He went out of his way to make sure we were extremely comfortable along the way and even accommodated a stop that we requested that wasn’t on the itinerary. We loved learning from him. So glad we did this trip!
