• 10250 Hatchery Rd - The check-in area is conveniently located next to the parking lot. At the counter, staff will verify that all participants have completed their waivers and will provide life jackets for everyone. From the check-in area, guests will be shuttled to the drop-off point at Giese Park. Starting at Giese Park, guests can paddle or float down the river. The pick-up point is at West Baraboo, and guests will be shuttled back to the parking lot.

In 2002, the final dam on the Baraboo River was removed, making it the longest free-flowing river in the nation to be restored to its pre-settlement condition.
