Rinjani trekking! - We chose this agency because it was recommended by a friend who had already done the trekking in the past.
The organization is good, the food is cooked on the spot. It must be said that trekking is not for everyone, some people arts are steep, especially downhill

Recommended - We chose to do 2 days for the crater rim with a private Guide (there are 2). Our Guide (Anon) and the porter were great. The Guide has always been with us, he cooked us very good dishes (and plentiful) and the experience was very positive.
We are very satisfied. I would recommend training with climbs with elevation gain to enjoy the experience well because they are 1800 meters in altitude. They organized the transfer on time and their drivers were very nice. Recommendation

Amazing Experience - We were a group of friends and colleagues living in Singapore spending weekend in Indonesia targeting the summit of Mt. Rinjani and the crater rim. We did a 3D/2N trek with Lomok Trekking/Mr. Hardy. The whole tour was well organized (from A to Z) and the experience was just amazing. Started off by being picked up at the airport. We were then brought to a hotel nearby Mr. Hardy home. A few hours after the arrival of the hotel, Mr. Hardy and his family welcomed us to their home serving delicious home-made local dishes. Next day – the tour started. It was as expected a lot of uphill (and downhill in the second day), but what a great experience. It was as expected tough but personally I enjoyed every step – from the very first step till the very last one. The nature, the landscape, the views from the summit, the sunrise, the lake, and last but not least the people - the crew and porters were just amazing! Terima kasih/Thank you. I could easily do it again with Mr. Hardy and Lomok Trekking if I do have a chance. Thus, Lomok Trekking/Mr. Hardy is highly recommended.

Mt Rinjani - We were picked up at the airport and driven to the apartments. Cozy space with great views and pool. Been invited home to the guide to have dinner and get information about the trip to the top of Mt Rinjani. Was taken very well be on during the tour by all the guides, good food and fantastic mountain hike, although it was hard. Remember to bring goose bars

Great hiking experience by great company - Wow what a trip!
Eleven of us traveling from Singapore to lndonesia/Lombok for the weekend just to hike the Mt Rinjani trail, three days and two nights.
Quite a lot of uphill the first day.
Day two early up to reach the summit before sun rise. This bit was tough due to mostly parts with gravel and soft sand + thinner air.
After the summit we more or less walked and climbed down to the crater lake for a nice hot spring dipper.
Then hiking up the trail to tent camp at the oposite side of the crater rim.
Arrived before dark and enjoyed good home made food prepared by the porter team.
Slept in single tents 😀
Day three down about 2000 height meters and our legs were battered but okay.
Mr Suhardi arranged airport transport both ways, excellent home made food and great guiding.
This company can easily be reccomended.

Amazing experience with caring guides - We took the 3d2n trip that summitted Mt Rinjani and the crater rim. The views up the summit and lake were amazing. Ardi and his team has been caring and friendly throughout the trip, cooking up delicious meals that filled our hungry stomachs. Would recommend others to Mr Hardy's company for a full immersive experience.

Mount Stampol, simply beautiful. - The hike to Mounr Stampol was extraordinary and beautiful.
From the pick-up at the port, to the organized hotel for the first night, to the return journey, everything was really well organized!
The guide was in a good mood and very professional. The porters did their job very well and cooked first-class food for us and did everything to make us feel comfortable, just great.
The hike took about 6 hours up and 4 hours down the next day. It was quite tough, but you are really rewarded at the crater rim.
Thank you for this trip, it was really amazing!

Rinjani with Lombok Trekking Mr. Hardy - I went to Mt. Rinjani two weeks ago. We were 2D 1N. The weather was very good, good temperature, it only rained half of the second day, going down. But there was no problem if you are well equipped. This trekking is hard, it's a challenge, but always worth it. Amazing views from the summit. Anyone who is fit or young, can do it. It has no dangerous steps. Our guide was the best, "The boss" (Yasin), very nice guy. All of them, guide and porters are local, that's great from my point of view. Very happy for his good disposition, help, patience and smiles. Also, for telling us many things about the mountain and local culture which is very appreciated it as a tourist and it's a plus as a guide, thank you and congratulations! I have no words, they are very strong, with great camaraderie and always with a smile. About the general organization was just correct, only few tips to take into acount: 1- Food is not enough, take something more with you, 2- We miss more general info from the organizer or his people in charge, I mean, photos of the hotels, schedule, itinerary, transfers... A part of this, this is an experience highly recommended it, amazing group of people with who we were sharing the trek, beautiful views and nature.

Review - Solo female traveller here from Canada who did the 2N/3D trek with Lomok Trekking/Mr.Hardy. When I arrived at the Lombok port, I had an amazing personal driver for 2 hours to a villa at the base of Rinjani. It was a lovely spot with very kind owners who fed me dinner & breakfast. The problem was that I was the only person at the whole villa and the 5 others on my same trek were all together at a different villa. This made me feel super anxious and uneasy. Why would it just be me alone in a villa and the rest of the group all together? The other solo female girl with the rest of the group too. They all got to know each other and ate together. And here I am 21 years old and alone? Didn’t appreciate that. I am a big hiker and overall really enjoyed the trek. The food cooked for us was good. I will say on the last day we didn’t have enough water and also didn’t have snacks like we did the first 2 days. Our guide Won and 3 porters were great. So I would maybe recommend this company but really struggled the first night in the villa. Price was $190 USD for everything.
