On the food front this small city packs a big punch. - It was a great introduction to Ripon which I'd never visited before. There was an enjoyable mix of history, traditions and back ground supporting our visit to five different venues showcasing great food. We also got to know some key locations to explore at a later date. Come with an empty stomach the portions are generous too.

Great food, tour guide and experience. Highly recommended - We chose to do this food tour while staying in Richmond, having previously done the same company's vegan tour of Harrogate. Different tour guide, same great experience. Linda was very friendly and very knowledgeable about The food and Ripon and the surrounding area. Some tours sound scripted, Yorkshire Appetite’s don’t – they know their stuff! We ate at five completely different independent venues, all fabulous with friendly hosts who gave us a wonderful tasting experience. The portions are generous and by the final venue, we were pleasantly replete! They tour gives you five ideas of places to return to for a great meal. Thanks Linda and Yorkshire Appetite. Highly recommend.

A wonderful way to explore Ripon and its cuisine - As seasoned foodies, this tour was a surprise, and we had a fantastic time. We were warmly welcomed by our guide who was both friendly and deeply knowledgeable about Ripon, the stops along the way, and the surrounding area. We went to five different stops on the tour, each with its own unique style and flavour. The food was fresh, tasty, and very generous! The Food Tour of Ripon is a wonderful way to discover a new city, meet new people, and enjoy some amazing food. Highly recommended.

Delicious food, great tour and guide! - I joined this tour with others and thoroughly enjoyed it! We visited 5 independent restaurants and tasted a variety of different dishes at each establishment. We had a delightful guide, Linda, who talked about each venue, introduced us to the chef or owner and shared interesting snippets of information about the local area as we walked the tour route. The food served was delicious with sensible portions, so you could enjoy everything without feeling “stuffed”. This is a great experience for oneself or for a gift for “the foodie who has everything!” Would highly recommend.
