Great experience - We had a great experience walking around base of the Ayer’s Rock. Our tour guide Lincoln was very knowledgeable about history of the area and told us several aboriginal legends. Very interesting but be prepared for a long walk!

Outstanding walk - It was an extraordinary walk, and Michelle our walk leader gave an excellent talk on all the Aboriginal history and of the flora and fauna relevant to Uluru. It was a wonderful experience. Thanks Michelle and the team.

Walk around Uluru - Very nice experience! The peacefulness of the early morning, combined with the nicely paced walk around this stunning rock, and comments and stories from the guide, made for an unforgettable experience. Well organised.

Lots of cultural education!! - Amazing tour!! We wanted to do the base walk on our own but shortly after the beginning of the tour we decided that it would've been boring to do it without a guide! I would recommend having a snack prior or brought with you to the tour since breakfast doesn't occur until about 9:30-10 ish. Would 100% do it again!

A well constructed, fun morning adventure - The Base Walk was a well thought out, fun morning. Mitch and Chloe we great guides (we thought Mitch showed wonderful mentoring skills with the younger guides on both this tour and the Kings Canyon rim walk that we did the day before), with lots of informative history and cultural tips. Rob from AAT Kings was great too as our driver (and caterer!) A mid-morning breakfast of cereals, fruits, muesli bars, hot and cold drinks broke the 12 km flat dirt track, easy paced walk, and it was a very enjoyable tour. Highly recommended! 10/10.

Fabulous - Such a beautiful walk and the guides (Michelle Chloe and Renee) were so informative. Learnt so much about the sacred sites and indigenous history. Wonderful experience.

Not as good as it should had been - This walk went quick, not a lot of time to stop and enjoy the beauty of the rock. I was not impressed with the guide. At least ten times he used the phrase, “I told you the wrong information.” He did not know the sight he was guiding us around. Disappointed to say the least

Disappointing at best - This was such a disappointing experience. The walk was extremely rushed, there was no time to enjoy the scenery, they don't take you to the cultural centre and the breakfast is only a snack at best - have something to eat before leaving your accommodation, otherwise starve until 10am, which is when they give you 30 minutes to eat some fruit, juice and sweet biscuits and go to the bathroom/rest your legs after having walked for 3 hours non stop. In addition to that, there's no opportunities to watch the sunset. You'll be much better off by buying the hop on hop off bus that takes you to the national park and doing the walk around the rock by yourself and at your own pace.
