The Japanese are on a Japanese language tour - Even if you don't speak English at all, you can still take a Japanese tour! (Even if you can speak a little English because there are so many proper nouns, it may be difficult to hear them on the English tour) We also heard many geological and cultural stories that can only be heard locally. Uluru in the picture and Uluru in the field are two different things. I think it would be best if we went on two sunset tours (the content is completely different).

Much less than the resort tours! - A large bus picked us up at the resort. Write drove around Uluru and were given commentary on the sacred sites we passed. It was very hot, so I was happy to be in an air conditioned bus for the ride around the rock. We stopped at the cultural center. There was interesting history written within wall art , many photos, and a short movie about the local peoples. There was a gift shop and clean toilets. There was a short walk to a watering hole containing native artwork. Our guide Mitch did a great job telling us about the area and keeping people organized and together. We were taken to a viewing area for the sunset. There was plenty of champagne and light snacks to enjoy while we waited for the sunset. On our visit, there was a huge cloud obstructing the sun, so we didn’t get the colors we were expecting. We did get some amazing lightning in the opposite direction. You can never predict nature! It was great that Mitch kept reminding everyone to keep drinking their water. There was plenty of cold water on the bus and we were able to refill our water bottles at each stop. We were offered folding stools to sit on while waiting for the sunset, but they were too low for this senior citizen. We walked over to an area with benches and picnic tables instead. I could see where this area could get very crowded, but on our night we were okay, and there wasn’t a great view anyway.

Very beautiful sunset - Very nice but I recommend renting a car and doing it yourself. You get closer to Uluru. Nice but a little far. Too bad.

Bring snacks for your... - Bring snacks for your kiddos if you bring them along. I think kids under 5 should be free because the nibbles are very adult. The sunset was gorgeous. Not sure the price fits what you get, but it was beautiful. I would recommend to the staff to provide hand sanitizer and explain to guests to not use their hands to pick up the food. Food area was slightly confusing.

Expensive but worth the money - Enjoyable experience - not close enough for the money spent. I understand every activity is expensive but to do this tour a park pass also needed to be purchase with no benefit

Nice Tour, But Not Spectacular - I enjoy this tour and wine and food etc., but wasn't as spectacular as I expected, but might have just been the day. The staff were exceptional and we were well looked after.

Uluru Sunset Tour - Very basic experience, the Bus just drop off at Uluru, some biscuits and Cheese and waiting for the Sunset. Anyone could get a hop in hop off bus to get there. Too expensive for 99 AUD per person + 38AUD for the park fee.
