• Tromso - The Humpback Whales and Orcas migrate to Northern Norway and the coast near Tromsø to feed on the Atlantic Herring from mid of October to the end of January. It’s about a three hour boat ride from Tromsø to the area where the whales gather , where we will see the whales.
• Northern Norway - On the choosen location we stop and look at the whales for 60-90 minutes depending on the conditions.
• Tromso - After spending time with the whales we go back to Tromsø.

Step aboard the high-speed, modern catamarans MS Rygerdronningen or MS Rygertroll for an exciting journey into the heart of the whale’s winter wonderland. As the tour navigates through Northern Norway’s Arctic fjords, participants will have the opportunity to observe the wonders of the far North: Humpback and Fin whales, Orcas, Harbour Porpoises, seabirds, and other Arctic wildlife. With the speed of these vessels, the tour is among the first to reach the whale sighting areas, ensuring ample time with these magnificent creatures.

Each winter, from mid-October to the end of January, Humpback and Orcas (Killer Whales) migrate to the waters around Tromsø to feast on the Atlantic herring. As the cruise approaches the whales’ feeding grounds, guests will enjoy a scenic voyage with breathtaking views of the Lyngen Alps. The knowledgeable guides offer fascinating insights into the whales and the region’s history, making the experience both enjoyable and educational.
