Immersive Nosy Komba Trek - Our full day jungle trek to the summit of Komba Island was a wonderful experience, better than expected. Our English speaking guide, Elio, made the trek super interesting by explaining about the interesting flora and by describing the day to day life of the hamlets we walked through. Our special immersive experience included tasting cacao beans and sugar apples as we passed local families going about their daily routines. The views are beautiful and quite spectacular from the Nosy Komba summit where we enjoyed a freshly made fruit drink. Walking through the Lemur Sanctuary was the icing on the cake. At one point I was festooned with 3 lemurs. Our dinner in the village tasted extra good after our long rewarding day. Then a sunset boat trip back to Hell-ville Port. Thank you Elio for introducing us to your beautiful country! Suggestions to tour operator: Given the cost of the trip it would have been nice if the drink at the summit were included. When landing in Anjiabe at low tide & walking across the sand, a bucket of salt water to rinse sand off your feet prior to putting on socks and shoes would be appreciated.

Excursions to Nosy Be with Cosimo - It is the second time, after five years, we have returned to Nosy Be, we have always relied on Cosimo Cael whatsapp +261326834419 for excursions. He is a guy who speaks Italian very well, attentive, precise and scrupulous, he offers an excursion package at very competitive prices compared to those offered in resorts. I would like to recommend him because in addition to being very professional he is also very friendly and, for excursions that include lunch, he provides excellent food, drinks and very fresh fish, alternatively you can inform him of different needs in advance, I had no problems with my son to make me some chicken he is always ready to help you. Highly recommend! - We had a great time on the jungle trek, and the flexibility and accommodation made for our group was perfect. The hike was very steep, and it had just rained, and we had some of our crew with injuries, so our guide completely rerouted the tour to something that we could do. We needed up not making it to the top of Nosy Komba, but we didn’t care - we hiked in the morning through a wildlife park (getting to feed and play with the lemurs, which was a highlight!), had a fantastic lunch at a restaurant in the fishing village on Nosy Komba (and for you vegetarians, they have great veggies, pasta, and fries in addition to their specialty of seafood), and then snorkeled and swam off a tiny island in the afternoon. Turned out to be great day. We’re active people, but the full hike is pretty tough with the inclines and declines, but if you’re worried about making it, know there are options if it gets too hard. The guides from Fossa travel were great folks, fun and helpful and enjoyed being with them for the day. Everything was included - food, drinks, transportation - and made it easy to just go and do what

Jungle boogie - We chose the jungle trek on the island of Nosy Komba with Ahmed, an experienced guide from Fossa travel. He showed us the local tribes living in small villages. On this fascinating and unspoilt island there are no car roads, we covered every metre on foot, a real and unforgettable achievement tour. Ahmed introduced us to the fauna and flora of the island, we hand fed the lemurs, met chameleons, snakes, zebu, and then had a fantastic well deserved Malagasy lunch. Thank you Fossa travel for this special experience of a lifetime. Linda

Adventurous - It was a very adventurous tour, but also a bit exhausting because of the heat. Despite the long hike, you don't see many animals, but you are compensated by the lemurs and many plantations. The guide is very nice, speaks very good English, explains a lot and has a trained eye for chameleons that I would have walked past.
