- Marina di Villasimius Srl - Have you ever tried to breathe underwater? No? Well, this is the right opportunity. Immerse yourself with our guides in the Marine Protected Area of Capo Carbonara and you will live a unique experience. You will be able to observe a great variety of marine species: from plants (hydrophytes) such as Posidonia Oceanica to larger fish such as Grouper (Epinephelus marginatus), passing through the small and magical Damselfish (Chromis chromis) and the fearsome, but harmless, Barracuda (Sphyraena viridensis). The experience begins with a short theoretical lesson by our guides who will teach you about the use of scuba diving equipment (air breathing apparatus) and safety concepts. At that point, with the notions provided by the guides, you will carry out a real dive lasting 30 minutes at a maximum depth of 5 meters! Activity recommended for those who DO NOT have the diving qualification license (Open Water Diver)

The Marine Protected Area of Capo Carbonara extends from Capo Boi to the island of Serpentara, but its heart is located on the Isola dei Cavoli where zones A are located (only divers are allowed access) and B or those rich in marine life.
Obviously they are not the only points where marine flora and fauna are in abundance, in fact, based on the marine weather conditions, you can dive at the rock of S. Caterina or Cava Usai.
