Fun and interesting tour - What a wonderful way to spend a very dull and damp Sunday morning in January. An excellent insight into the Rum distilling process given by the very knowledgeable Darren. Highly recommend a visit to try (and buy) this superb Rum made by the very talented alchemists of the DropWorks team.

Great tour, great host. - My Wife and I went to Dropworks rum distillery for a tour and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Darren was very knowledgeable and a brilliant host to our tour. Also very knowledgeable about the Welbeck estate. Was even able to take some samples home due to driving. Highly recommended and will most definitely return again. Thank you Darren.

Amazing tour - We visited the distillery yesterday and had such an amazing time . Darren , who hosted our tour , was so knowledgeable , informed , attentive and just a fabulous host . You're wrong if you think you don't like rum. Especially drop works rum! Yum! - I booked this for my partner and I, not really knowing what to expect, apart from the obvious... a rum distillery tour. We went at midday on a Thursday, bit random, but we were lucky enough that day for it to only be us 2. Darren met us at the door and that was it, we were all chatting away and pretty much didn't stop until we walked back out the door. We also met Shaun Smith, the drops distiller/ absolute genius and a blooming lovely bloke. We had a cocktail and a chat with Darren and Shaun and we could have sat there chatting all day to those guys. It was like we'd just bumped into two friends on a Thursday afternoon in a distillery on Welbeck estate... As you do. They were both genuinely lovely and a huge asset to that place. We had a great time just talking to be honest. The tour itself was great, Darren was super knowledgeable, excellent at explaining the rum making process and checking in we had an understanding of everything he was saying... Along with topping us up with delicious different rums as we went. I learnt a lot about Rum, surprisingly, but I also learnt a lot about what makes a good rum and what other rum makers do Vs what Drop Works do. It actually opened my eyes about what alcohol I should be purchasing and putting into my body to be honest. That's part of the Drop Works mission to educate the world about what makes a good rum and there is plenty of cowboys out there that will make you think twice about buying their alcohols. Genuinely. If there is quality to be had like drop works, my tum needs will be purchased from them quite frankly. We had a great day, we will return and we will be brining people with us, on many different occasions! You ALL need to go. And if you think you don't like rum, I'm sorry, but you're wrong. Because when these magicians crate you a drink using their rum, it's a new taste and a new kind of delicious. You've got to go and see! 10/10. Oh, if you go in winter, pop on a coat as it can be a bit chilly. I got some great pics, but I'm only putting on the 1 as I want you to all go and have a loom for yourselves. It's like a huge scientific lab that creates alcohol! Hello! What more could you want?!

It's a must! - Great experience. Far exceeded my expectations. We will definitely be visiting again. Darren's knowledge and passion for the work he does is inspiring. It's a must.

Drop works is amazing - Welbeck estate rum tour. Drop works run tour on the welbeck estate has been an incredible insight into the making of rum. We bought the tour as gifts, my self, father and brother in-law and uncle. A great time had by all, with a massive shout out to Darren who is incredibly knowledgeable about rum and the process but also a decent and funny bloke with a generous measure. We will definitely be back for more tasting and we bought a few bottles to take home. Thoroughly enjoyed, many thanks 👍🏼

Hidden gem on Welbeck Estate definitely worth a visit - Fantastic afternoon out! Learnt loads about rum in general and the production process. Darren was an excellent host and tour guide - very engaging and made it fun with lots of humour along the way. Plenty of rum to sample as well, all the different types they make. Darren’s bar is definitely worth a visit! My wife isn’t into rum at all and she enjoyed it too. Can’t recommend enough.

Wedding gift rum tour - Absolutely amazing, Darren the tour guide was amazing! He was so informative and fun, the drinks were amazing and he as so down to earth and not technical or distiller jargon! Would happily go again and again!

DROPWORKS RUM TOUR - Most enjoyable couple of hours. Darren our guide was very informative and the rum was fantabulous, so many pleasant tastes. If you don't like rum when you go in, I'm sure you will by the time you come out!!
