DropWorks Rum Distillery
Tour starts from the DropWorks Distillery which is located at the Stone Shed within Welbeck.
Please park at the tank track car park and meet at the DropWorks Distillery 10 minutes before the tours scheduled start time.
Cancellation Policy
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

Birthday surprise - Darren was very welcoming when we arrived.
He made my husband’s birthday treat very special from start to finish.
He was very knowledgable when questions were asked.
He made a very good happy atmosphere.
Would definitely recommend that you should go and taste the rum.
Shaun who makes the rum was charming sharing his knowledge of the rum making process.

You must visit! - This place is amazing! Darren is so friendly and knowledgeable! Lewis and Will were fab too.you can see they have a true love and passion for the brand. The grounds of the venue are beautiful and the rum tastes great!

Amazing event ran by lovely people - Fantastic event and location with a brilliant host. Very informative and knowledgeable, always happy to answer every question (of which there were many!) and made us all laugh tons. The rums were unique and all tasted amazing. This was the highlight of the stag weekend. Wholeheartedly recommend this tour and will be visiting again in future.

Where Rum meets passion. - I was part of a stag do who had arranged for a private tour of this brewery. Didn’t even realise just how close it was to!
Darren was the not so typical compare of the tour, he was absolutely the best host ever. Introduced himself to every single person and made us all instantly laugh and at ease.
Darren had such a great understanding of distilling and brewing the Rum and made us easy to understand. Allowed for questions and “science” to be explained. He managed many of us perfectly!
The tour is a must if you’re a fan of Rum, tasters throughout (absolutely required) of all of Drop Works signature range. Looking forward to what more this brewery is bringing out soon.
Drop Works will become a name soon, if what we saw on the tour has anything to go by.
At the price per head, this experience is a steal and everyone loved it. Don’t even hesitate, get it booked, get drunk and have a laugh.
I do recommend taxi’s to enjoy the experience in full.

The Best - Absolutely fantastic tour. Darren is so knowledgeable and has a great personality. Did the tour with my son who's a Rum fanatic and me a Whisky fanatic. After tasting these Rums I'm now a Rum fan and will book another visit just to make sure I understood everything Darren told us 🥃 cheers.

Superb start to finish. - One of the friendliest, most enthusiastic, knowledgable and professional tours we have been on. Wonderful host, down to earth and able to relate to the attendees. Excellent samples and explanation of their processes.
Delighted with the quality of their products having taken two bottles home.
Drinks before you start the tour, during and after. Great overview of the history and company wider ethos. Heritage, well made products and if you can..... dont drive.
The site is amazing with a farm shop of cheeses, meats etc.

Great Experience - A great time at this small distillery, guide was friendly (unable to remember his Name at moment as rum gone to my head). He was very informative and answered every question that was asked and explained it in a simple way. Started of with cocktail (it was somebody's birthday at time and snacks an cake plus hats was provided by host,great idea). Samples throughout the short tour, very strong but exciting flavours. Finished of with another cocktail. Would reccomend, especially if you like rum.
Tip..... Almost late due to no signage, arrive early and drive past garden centre and keep going.
