A fab walk with a knowledgeable guide! - We booked our walk a couple of weeks before as we knew we were visiting Nottingham for a city break.
We met at the old market Square where we meet our guide Annette plus everybody else turned up on time. There were 10 of us in our walking party.
Annette was very informative, and she obviously knew the area well.
We proceeded through the city centre with the famous landmarks including the Lace market, Saint Mary’s church, the National Justice Museum. finishing off at the castle.
We thoroughly enjoyed the walk with a great guide and a very friendly walking group. We would highly recommend this walk.

Great Introduction to Nottingham - We always try to book a walking tour when we visit somewhere we haven’t been before and our tour with Sam really helped us to get our bearings and find out more about the city. Despite the miserable weather, we enjoyed the experience and learned a lot. Nottingham is a very compact city so the walk is not too long and conveniently finished at Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem just in time for lunch.

Perfect way to spend 90 mins in Nottingham - Sam, our local guide, was very knowledgeable and made the walk super interesting. Great way to spend 90 minutes and learn about the lace, the castle siege and Snotingham!

Simply Superb Sam - We were lucky enough to spend two hours with Sam as our guide exploring Nottingham's history. Sam was the perfect ambassador and exceptionally knowledgeable, not just about Nottingham but wider British history for further context too. We have lived in Nottingham for 10 years, but were hosting friends from Florida who hadn't been to our city before. This was a perfect introduction for them, and us! We finished off our tour at Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem for a quick half (also highly recommended). If you want to know more about Nottingham's past, this tour has my highest recommendation: you won't be disappointed.

Great tour of Nottingham - Sam was an excellent tour guide, extremely friendly, knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions. The tour was great, allows to explore Nottingham, get to know about its rich history and great way to discover places to visit, drink and eat. We had a great time, would definitely recommend!

Enjoyable group walk - Guided walking tour of Nottingham with host Sam lasted 1.5 hours. Lots of interesting facts learnt. There was 5 people in the group which was a nice fairly intimate number. The walk was very manageable and ended at the castle.

An excellent walking tour - It was an excellent experience, and it would be well worth spending 90 minutes of your time here on this tour of Nottingham. Sam was an excellent guide, friendly, and very knowledgeable on the history of the area. She pointed out lots of interesting places and crammed in lots of information.

Adventures in Nottingham: A Memorable Walking Tour Experience! - I had the pleasure of joining a walking tour of Nottingham led by the delightful Sam, and let me just say, it was an adventure worth every step!
I was a bit nervous when I found out I was the only participant—imagine me standing there, feeling like the last kid picked for dodgeball. But Sam, the kind-hearted person that she is, welcomed me with open arms and turned what could have been an awkward solo stroll into a personal tour of all things Nottingham.
Sam is not just a guide; she’s a walking encyclopedia of facts and legends, with a sprinkle of enthusiasm that made every story come alive. Despite the absence of other participants, she didn’t skip a beat and made me feel like I was the most important person in the world. From tales of Robin Hood to the quirky history of the city, I found myself captivated and laughing at every twist and turn. Who knew history could be so entertaining?
By the end of the tour, I felt like I had made a new friend and gained a treasure trove of knowledge. I’m incredibly grateful for the time we spent together this morning. If you’re considering a walking tour in Nottingham, do yourself a favor and ask for Sam. You won’t regret it!
