打卡 - 🎉 Discovering the Charms of Nottingham, UK! 🏰
Hey travel lovers! 👋 Today, I'm excited to share with you a comprehensive travel guide to Nottingham, a historic city located in the Midlands of England. Whether you're a fan of history, nature, or simply looking for a great place to dine and unwind, Nottingham has it all! 🌟
🏰 Nottingham Castle
First up, let's talk about the iconic Nottingham Castle, situated right in the heart of the city. With its medieval architecture and a museum inside, this castle offers a glimpse into the city's rich history. Don't miss the coin-operated telescopes around the castle, which provide stunning views of the surrounding area. Although some of the original structures have been lost to time, the museum is definitely worth a visit!
🛍️ Old Market Square
Next, head to Old Market Square, the bustling hub of Nottingham's shopping, dining, and leisure scene. This vibrant square is the perfect place to get lost in the city's energy, with various markets and events happening throughout the year, like food festivals, Christmas light-switching ceremonies, and summer fountain displays. Grab a book and relax on one of the benches under the sunny skies – it's the perfect way to unwind!
🌲 Sherwood Forest National Park
For those who love nature, Sherwood Forest National Park is a must-visit. This beautiful forest is famous as the home of Robin Hood, and it offers a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Enjoy a leisurely walk through the tranquil woods and immerse yourself in the harmony of nature.
🍷 Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem
If you're looking for a traditional British pub experience, Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem is one of the oldest bars in England and serves up delicious drinks and meals in a historic setting. Feel the weight of history as you sip on a pint and enjoy a hearty meal.
🏞️ Wollaton Hall and Deer Park
Wollaton Hall, a stunning Elizabethan mansion surrounded by lush gardens, is another highlight of Nottingham. The deer park adjacent to the hall is a favorite spot for visitors, with优雅的小鹿 wandering freely. Remember to keep a safe distance while taking photos with these charming animals!
🍽️ Dining in Nottingham
When it comes to dining, Nottingham has plenty of options to suit every taste. From Kayal, an Indian restaurant offering delicious sadya meals, to Pitcher Piano in the Lace Market area, where you can enjoy food while admiring the historic surroundings, there's something for everyone.
🏨 Where to Stay
For accommodation, consider staying at De Ville Court Larkspur Hotel, located in the heart of Nottingham University, or Ibis Nottingham Centre, near the train station. Both offer modern, clean rooms and excellent service to ensure a comfortable stay.
🚄 Getting Around
Nottingham is easily accessible by train, with connections to major cities like Leeds taking just 2 hours. Once you're there, walking is the best way to explore the city's compact center.
That's it for my Nottingham travel guide! Whether you're planning a short trip or a longer stay, this city has something special to offer everyone. So pack your bags, and let's go explore the magic of Nottingham! 🛫✨

Super evenings entertainment - Great treasure hunt. Very well designed and challenging. Provided our group of teenagers and twenty somethings with a great evenings entertainment. Super way of seeing a very nice city that has a long and interesting heritage. Not sure about the scoring if you’re doing it for a competition, but that didn’t detract from a great evenings fun. And it ends at a very typical and scenic English traditional location. Thanks Paul!

HIGHLY recommended - We did this as a group of six friends, one of whom lives in Nottingham and was initially skeptical of Robin Hood-themes tours. But she might have gotten into it more than anybody, sometimes exclaiming after a clue, "I know where that is!" before taking off at a run, or when someone else noticed whatever feature the clue was referencing, "I would never in a million years have noticed that there."
It was challenging enough that we'd erupt into cheers at solving a particularly tough clue, but not so challenging that we weren't able to complete it. You're theoretically racing against a clock when you're not at a pausing point, but it doesn't really matter. We ducked into shops a couple times to escape the hail, and that didn't hamper the game at all. A very fun way of exploring the Nottingham city centre.

Good fun. Nice way to spend some time as a family. - Nice fun day out - we took our time, and stopped for lunch mid game, but overall we got a good 4 or so hours entertainment from the treasure hunt. You could probably do it in half a day easily enough. The puzzles vary of the course of the event, so although the first few clues are a bit "find this thing", later ones involve some simple ciphers etc. There's a nice little set of cinematics as well, in all, we're happy with what we got for what we paid.
We were a family with children 14 and 11, and the difficulty was pitched about right in terms of being accessible to all of us - a couple of the puzzles would need explaining/helping for younger children, but it was still fun for the adults. We had not previously visited Nottingham, so the route took in a few of the sites, and gave us a more general feel for Nottingham as a destination - we've agreed to come back and explore the Castle and caves as a result.

Treasure Hunt with Friends in Nottingham - What a brilliant way to spend a couple of hours with friends in Nottingham!
Very easy to use via the online link and much better than pen and paper, which we saw others using from other companies.
The clues were hard enough to get you thinking and we were stumped on a couple, but the hints helped.
Would definitely recommend to others and will be looking to do more in other cities.

Wonderful afternoon - This was bought as a birthday present for my husband in December but due to adverse weather only got to undertake it today.
We have both thoroughly enjoyed following the map and solving the clues. We also learnt a lot about Nottingham.

Great idea to explore the city centre - Really good idea and takes you around the city centre exploring parts you wouldn't usually think of visiting.
They were also very helpful in helping us rebook when we had a mishap on our first visit so had to cut it short

Fun Nottingham exploration - Exploring Nottingham on a sunny day was an absolute delight! I appreciate the prompt enrollment service provided. The riddle added an enjoyable twist to the experience. However, I encountered an issue with the story playback feature on my iPhone, which I'm unsure if it was due to a network problem or not. Besides, the weather remained windy for a March day

Not a great family experience - The treasure hunt itself was good however wouldn’t recommend it for a family on a Saturday afternoon - the centre of Nottingham is not very family at all so we gave up after clue 4 unfortunately:-(

Quest stopped working - Quest was 13 questions long but in question 11d it had stopped working. I texted the number that had contacted me for my email, however they did not response. An evening and money wasted!!
