Tour starts from the DropWorks Distillery which is located at the Stone Shed within Welbeck. Please park at the tank track car park and meet at the DropWorks Distillery 10 minutes before the tours scheduled start time.

An excellent tour with an excellent guide - Wow! Superb! From the initial correspondence to book 4 very busy diaries in for this experience, Darren was an utter gem. A plethora of emails finally saw us settle for the 6th November 2025. Though a little tricky to find within the Welbeck estate, the distillery itself is really interesting. Darren (or Darroofus with our little team of Doofus’s) was knowledgeable and very entertaining. A clear, engaging, positive and friendly guide who took us through the history of the estate, how the distillery was founded, how they support local farmers - a genuinely committed individual who helps to translate the science into an understandable format. I would definitely recommend a tour - and the rums! Thank you Darroofus - a brilliant experience. Doofus (aka Suzi)

Really worth a visit - This was probably the best distillery tour we have done . Darren was knowledgeable and engaging through out and made the tour fun and informative . We went on the journey and sampled the amazing product as well . Really worth the visit and will look forward to going again.

Great way to spend a couple of hours learning lots about rum. - Really enjoyed the tour, Darren and his lovely hat was a great host and very knowledgeable . The drinks were great and we learned a lot about the process and drink industry. We purchased a couple of bottles taking advantage of the 10% off. Would definitely recommend.

BRILLIANT tour with Darren AND lots of rum!!! - Myself and four friends attended the Dropworks Gin Distillery Tour on 01/08/2025 at 12pm. This tour was led by Darren who was very informative and extremely friendly throughout. He took us through the entire process and story of how the distillery came to be, from the initial thought to the thriving distillery it is today. REALLY enjoyed the tour and there were samples galore and he’s not tight with the measures so get either a designated driver or a taxi!!! In fact, I have since added his elderflower rum cordial cocktail to my repertoire!!! Darren was a brilliant host and his love for the products shone through throughout the entire tour. At £25 per person for the tour and with the rum we sampled and the knowledge we gained, it was REALLY good value and a brilliant way to spend a couple of hours. Definitely would recommend. If you’re in Worksop, don’t miss this treat and book early!!!

Perfect - Absolute perfect few hours spent with Darren who is so knowledgeable and passionate a real credit to the brand. Rum out of this world. Everyone should do this trip whether you are lover or not of rum as I am sure with Darren’s passion everyone will leave with a new favorite drink and lots of stories to spread the news of a great product

Very impressive and super host Darren - What a perfect way to spend a couple of hours. The distillery is impressive and the location beautiful. Our host Darren was superb, very friendly and very knowledgeable and passionate about the Welbeck Estate, the rum and of course the process. Lovely fresh cocktail to start and excellent smooth rum samples throughout. I would definitely recommend. Great fun thank you

Fantastic couple of hours in amazing surroundings - Discovered Dropworks at a local food market and then booked the tour. Darren was super friendly, welcoming and made it a great experience!!! Fantastic rums and really looking forward to #rumclub Thank you so much for a fun afternoon and wonderful rum!!!

Perfect tonic and tour guide - The perfect tonic on a rainy summers day. The distillery is located in the most stunning location. We were greeted by Darren our very freindly tour guide who prepared us a lovely rum cocktail at the bar which was a nice sociable start. Darren’s knowledge is outstanding and he is clearly very passionate answering every question making it a very interesting and engaging experience. I would highly recommend booking a tour. My husband is delighted with the 63 percent bottle we purchased and we are looking forward to visiting again to stock up for Christmas.

- Great experience Darren was very welcoming. And explained everything in Great detail. And asked if any1 had any question before moving onto the next part of the distillery process. Large samples to try and the driver of your party got 2 samples to.take home. Would recommend if you love rum #dropworks
