- Lepa Vida winery - You will meet one of the owners (Irena or Matija) who will run the winetasting for you. You will learn about the Vipava valley, its specifics in geography, history and of course wine and gastronomy. During the wine tasting you will taste 5+ (usually 7) different wines, all produced by the Lepa Vida winery (Matija takes care of winemaking).
The wines are joined by a selection of homemade seasonal snacks (everything prepared by Irena), homemade salami and/or similar dried meat products, bread and water. Enough to make sure you don’t get hungry during the winetasting. If you have any dietary restrictions, don’t forget to mention them when booking!
Make sure to take your time and don’t be in a hurry!

Beautiful experience - I'm not a sommelier but something of wine I catch!!!!
On the move to an Italian location nearby, as I often do, I decide to visit some wineries in the area and in case, he deserves it, take home a few bottles...
Looking a little on google I say to myself .. let's try a little to see if there is any winery near Trieste to visit, for a change, maybe in Slovenia ...
After a second of blind search, not knowing the area, I find them, there in Slovenia but a stone's throw...
I open the site I book tasting at 25 € with saucer of the territory and I go..
What about???go there!!!!
The owner told me the story of the company, the vines and its wines in a nice and impeccable way... we. then talked about the plus and minus... (in Italian).
Experienced person, humble and polite...
But above all, which is what matters, the wine was FANTASTIC.
Everything I tasted was great, in fact something I took home:-)...
Really promoted.

Perfect tasting, eating, discussing, location and weather!!! - Very nice wine and food (also for vegetarian). Super professional explanation about the area (terroir), the philosophy of the winery and how the different wines are made.

Great experience and very special wines that absolutely convince! - Very nice Mood and great snacks. The owner has guided us through the diversity of her wines with her history and best wine knowledge. Every wine is a story and a taste experience. We will gladly come back, even alone to get supplies❤️

Wonderful wine experience - Wonderful evening in the modern and elegant tasting room. We were offered 9 different wines in an interesting and reasonable order. The owner told us all necessary information about the wines and interesting history facts about the winery, the bottles and the labels. We enjoyed the delightful wines and snacks and had a wonderful evening.

Delicious wines, very nice hosts and really nice evening! - We had a very great evening at Irina's wine tasting on the way through. Thank you for that! We were alone with only one other guest, the snacks were very lovingly prepared and extremely delicious. Irina's enthusiasm as well as the winetasting itself have absolutely hit our taste - we have been shopping diligently;) Especially the stories about the winery and the names of the wines we liked very much:-)
At the pitch we were alone, it was very quiet and pleasant. The fact that there is no shower is not too bad, sink and toilet are there!
We will definitely recommend Lepa Vida!

Great wines - Great wines and very nice presentation. We stood with the motorhome and it was great Service. Everything was great and we bought 3 cases of wine with us.

Perfect Evening Full of Wines and Stories for only 25 Euro - We had an absolutely fantastic time at Lepa Vida Winery! 🍷✨
The wine tasting was truly outstanding – we got to try 9 different wines, each one delicious and unique, paired with a wonderful selection of local specialties that complemented the tasting perfectly. It was not only informative and entertaining, but also full of fun and good vibes. For just 25€ per person, it was an incredible value!
We also stayed overnight with our SUV and rooftop tent on their pitch for only 10€ per night, which was super quiet and peaceful. Having access to a toilet at the winery made it even more convenient.
Overall, this was an unforgettable experience – amazing wines, warm hospitality, great food, and unbeatable prices. Highly recommended to anyone visiting the area! 🌟🍇

Worth a visit! - It was a great evening with delicious regional specialties. We rather like lovely wine, so there was nothing suitable for us at this winery. The pitch was great. The hosts mega friendly and the view and surroundings a dream.

Warm taste of the Vipava valley - We booked a wine tasting at 16:00. Although the ones at 13:00 and at 19:00 at the same day were fully booked, me and my girlfriend were the only one at 16:00. Nevertheless, Irena still took the time to explain everything about the wines and the area she lived in. She gave us and interesting and warm afternoon together in which she really took the time for us. Memories of good wines, snacks and stories about the Vipava valley will stay with us.

Great hostess and fantastic local wines - Irena offered the best introduction into Slovenian wine that one could hope for. Shortly after crossing the Croatian border, we stopped by Lepa Vida winery. Beautiful location and tasting room. Great varieties of wines showcasing the local terroir. The orange wine was a stunner. We learned a lot and really enjoyed the food spread. A great winery!
