My name is Esther Rai, and my biggest passion is creating myriad culinary delights. Ever since I was a child, I’ve enjoyed spending time in the kitchen alongside my mother and sister, taking pleasure in observing and participating in every aspect of the cooking process. There’s no greater joy for me than seeing people savor the meals I prepare. In the wake of Covid-19, I’ve started offering cooking classes as a means to provide financial assistance to my family.
In my classes, I teach how to create dishes like Dal Bhat, Momo, and Thukpa, but I’m also open to accommodating guests’ special requests. Through these classes, my aim is to offer people a taste of a true Nepali kitchen and the entire process of food preparation in Nepal, including a trip to the local market to procure fresh ingredients and engage with the locals.
- Our classes include an immersive trip to a local market, fostering interaction with the locals.
- Our location is incredibly distinct, merely a 5-minute walk from Patan Durbar Square, allowing guests to soak in the authentic Nepalese culture.
- To me, cooking is not just a hobby – it’s a burning passion, and I love sharing it with others.
