Amazing walk along the bay! - We had an amazing day!! The walk along the bay was very nice. I loved watching the fish when snorkeling and super fun to use kayaking and paddle. Thanks to the crew guys, Irvin, Luis, Joel, Francisco and Mario, super attentive all the time and very delicious food.

Canuwa Mikes snorkeling tour - The views were so amazing, lots of fun snorkeling, paddle boarding, kayaking, and even jumping off the boat!! Their food was the best food I’ve had so far on this vacation too.

Absolute must do for a family visiting Puerto Vallarta - Where do I begin? I want this review to be as helpful as possible to someone considering this excursion so bear with me here. We used Mikes Fishing and tours last year so we kind of knew what to expect. Last year we were a much smaller group so we obviously required a much smaller boat. It was a little dated, but worked out perfectly. The captain was awesome and he had one hand. We had a great time. This time we had a much larger group (19) so we went in on the Florero Yacht and this boat was absolutely amazing. (Keep in mind that my family isn’t on and off yachts either) I fee like this boat could have held WAY more people too. The boat also came with the following: Capt- Antelmo who was extremely nice and allowed you to kind of create your own timeline of events. Really good guy. Chef- Francisco. I got sidetracked just watching him cut the ceviche from the fish we caught. It wasn’t just that he could cook but I didn’t expect to put as much into the food presentation as he did. Bartender Kevin- Kevin hustled around everywhere and was on top of everything. Even when we dropped anchor and were swimming he would jump into the ocean to deliver drinks 🤣. Cesar and Ruben held the title of service. Whether they were running around tending to things on the boat, overseeing the fishing, delivering food, etc. they made everything run smoothly and were extremely nice. Last but not least, Ed! He was the photographer and he just kind of moves around in the background taking pics as things organically occur. The photos and videos were natural memories, not “hey stop and pose” pics. Ed was an awesome guy and I hate when people are like, “do you want to buy the pics from your excursion?” But this was different. Even though we took our own pics, he was so great at what he did we had to buy his photo package, it was too good. Lastly a quick rundown. This isn’t a “fishing trip” It’s a boat trip that allows you to fish for a while enroute to snorkeling and swimming on gorgeous beaches. The hopes are for you to catch fish for the ceviche and give a little bit of a fishing experience, so anglers this isn’t for you. We booked a second trip with some of our family which is only fishing. Once you catch fish the chef prepares your food while you snorkel. Then you depart the snorkeling area and head to drop anchor at a remote beach where you will spend the rest of your time eating, drinking and swimming. The crew even allowed the kids to fish the whole way back to the marina. I can’t say enough about this group and the tour, obviously. Oh, and they didn’t slack on the amount of drinks or snacks, including plenty of sandwiches the whole time. Ok, I’m done ranting. Awesome trip, awesome people, 100% must do. Perfect for families, kids and grandparents.

Spend the day with the Canuwa II crew! - The Canuwa II crew was amazing! Family of 8 spent the day snorkling, swimming, eating and drinking. The crew was hilarious, kind and very accommodating. We were provided a fresh light breakfast, a delicious lunch and unlimited cold drinks. Saw whales, dolphins and many birds. The crew was very safety conscious. Photographer on board who offered photos to purchase at the end of the day. Would highly recommend Mikes!

Perfect Weather. Perfect Tour. Perfect Day! - While visiting PV with the family, we decided to take this tour to be out in the bay and fish. I had many questions before the trip which were answered quickly and thoroughly via email. On that day, we took a ten minute taxi from the resort to the marina. Finding the guide and checking in was very easy. We had 5 couples on the boat and had plenty of room to enjoy the perfect day. The captain and crew were fantastic!!! We caught enough fish so that everyone had a chance to reel one in. The crew surprised us by making fresh ceviche with our catch with fresh guacamole for lunch. Everyone said it was the best they ever had!!! We all decided that we have to return for a repeat next year.

Amazing. Once in a lifetime - This trip was amazing and the crew was one of the best parts for sure. They were always at your service and the chef, Sebastian, made the best guac ever. I had so much fun and the boat was gorgeous.

Pretty good - It was awesome and the fish was amazing! The only bad thing was photography. When he took A picture of us holding a fish either he would cut out the WHOLE fish out or he would cut the face. We paid 175$ in US for these pictures. I could film on my phone better!

Damaged boat and they do not have the capacity to resolve - We rented a fishing boat at 7 am, unfortunately it broke down and we couldn't leave, they offered a replacement in 30 maximum 40 minutes and an hour passed and nothing arrived. Israel, it's nice but they don't have the capacity to resolve. Be ready from 5 am to buy all the snacks and drinks because they don't provide them at all.... If it broke down, they should have warned not to arrive at the boarding or take prior measures...

What a waste of $1300 - I specifically booked the Karina because we have had great luck on it and it has two fighting chairs, they changed the boat to the Isabella and did not tell us. We have been out on the Isabella and did not like it and had terrible luck. It also only has one fighting chair. We were told we would be leaving the marina at 5AM, the boat was twenty minutes late. A photographer was also on the boat, which was awkward. We booked a 10 hour trip. The trip out to the fishing grounds took about two hours. The photographer used one of the state rooms so we had to sleep on the couches in the main area. The Captain and deck hand smoked cigarettes nonstop. The captain took several naps and let the photographer run the boat. I am guessing that the captain would know the fishing grounds better than the photographer. We asked to come in 2 hours early. In the end I wasted $1300. This was our 4th and final trip with Mikes...
