Great experience with lots of yummy food - Lots of yummy food and amazing scenery into rural Mexico. Only suggestion is for tour guide to use microphone for duration of trip. She used it intermittently and without it, we could not hear her unless standing right next to her.

A great day out in the country! - We all had a great day: the chocolate garden; the honey place, the tortilla making place…. all interesting…. topped off by a relaxed and fun time at the end, where we all worked together to make our own Mexican lunch. We did a good job, and our mole, salsa and tortillas were delicious. It was very interesting to see and learn about the farmland that is a source of much of North America’s tropical fruit! Thanks to Santiago, our excellent driver and Alexa, our lively, clear and well informed guide. She “made” the trip memorable…. among the best of the Vallarta Adventures we’ve taken. EXCELLENT & Enjoyable Cultural Tour - This was an EXCELLENT cultural tour of the area! Terrific tour of cacao farm & honey shop, fresh warm tortillas and farm where we made molé from scratch! It was so good! Our guide, Franco, was AMAZING and relayed a lot of interesting history. Our driver, Nery was also on the ball with a very clean bus and was very courteous helping all of us on and off the bus...I would highly recommend this to EVERYONE!

Pueblos culinary tour by Vallarta Adventures - The Pueblos culinary tour was very enjoyable, and we would recommend it to others. We learned a great deal about the food itself as well as its history from Franco, our friendly and energetic guide. Our driver Nery, stopped several times along the way to point out interesting sights. Great experience overall.

The real Mexico with great food - I fantastic trip to see the real Mexico with our driver Santiago and guide Sophia. The trip started with a visit to a Cacao local producer and the process was explained with tasting of the bean, marmalade and cocoa sauce. The marmalade was so good we bought a jar. Stop of at a local tortilla maker and had fresh corn tortilla. Then onwards to the lake which had thousands of ducks on a migratory path for the Mexican cooking class and meal. The day was made by our driver who spotted things and Sophia’s energy on the towns and real life Mexico. Fab tour highly recommended.

Absolutely great day!! - We have done a few great tours in Puerto Vallarta this trip, and this one was by far our favorite. I didn't think anything could beat whale watching, but this was such an amazing day! Our tour guide Sofia made it absolutely perfect. Her knowledge was incredible and her genuine love for the area was clear, she did a wonderful job of keeping us informed, entertained, and engaged with each other. There were multiple stops, all were great, and the family-style meal (both preparing and eating) was so much fun. I would highly recommend this tour, and if Sofia is your guide you are in for a wonderful time.
