Great day touring Yelapa and Majahuitas was awesome! - We really enjoyed our day. The crew were entertaining and always serving drinks or helping with whatever we needed. The stop along the way like snorkeling was very nice. Then the visit to Yelapa was really interesting with our walk through village up to waterfall…albeit it was not the rainy season and waterfall small, it was still informative to see how people live. We ended on the beautiful beach and then off to Majahuitas Beach for our lunch and afternoon of water activities. Food was good and we took advantage of banana boat ride, kayaking and paddle board. Then our return back where the crew put on a great show and served us drinks which were all very good. Hats off to Adventure Vallartas for a great day and an excursion I highly recommend.

Incredible Adventure Day, with Beautiful photos as memories - THANK YOU ELSA! - Our entire experience with Vallarta Adventures was so amazing! It was easy, beautiful, and so fun. All the staff were very friendly and the food was so good. My husband has a gluten and dairy allergy and he was still able to have a full and satisfying meal! BUT - the real star of the show for us was our photographer, ELSA! She was so sweet and fun right off the bat, which put us at ease. She helped us pose, utilized the natural beauty of our surroundings and the end result were truly incredible photos that captured the essence of such a beautiful day. We bought an entire flipbook of photos AND a steel print. Elsa went above and beyond by personally dropping off our photos after hours so we could ensure we got the pictures before we left. We will definitely rebook with Vallarta Adventures just so we can see Elsa again.

Great day on the water! - The trip to Las Mariettas and Majahuitas was great. It was well organized, the crew on Boat #1 was a lot of fun, we enjoyed lots of whale sightings, the beach at Majahuitas was beautiful and the lunch was tasty. Only downside was the snorkeling at Las Mariettas was a bit disappointing - the water was very chilly and a little murky. If you’re primarily looking for a snorkeling experience I might try Los Arcos.

Vallarta Tours to Yelapa was a highlight of our trip! - SO. MUCH. FUN! This was the perfect tour to fit everything in - boat - beautiful beaches - sightseeing - snorkelling - banana boat - kayaks - delicious lunch.. and the spectacular village and waterfall of Yelapa.
I can't say enough about Vallarta Tours! As a person that works in events, it's always behind the scenes that could be crazy - but the important thing is that those who are paying for the experience don't see it. This was the case with Chai and his entire team. They made the day flawless, friendly and fun! Boy - did they work hard!
The first stop was beautiful and the snorkelling was fun to do - although we didn't see alot (not their fault, just the way the day went :) The crew took the time to ensure everyone had a turn on the banana boat. The second stop - Yelapa is incredible and the highlight of my entire trip! You had alot of time to explore the waterfall, the village and the beach. Lunch was delicious and there was so much for everyone - you don't leave hungry!
As a bonus, from the water, we saw the national park with the Blue Footed Boobies and whales!
TIP - arrive at the port early to ensure you get your tickets as there is a line for all the tours - then you will need to pay a port fee (30 pesos I think per person) at the other end of the building and head back to the waiting area This takes a little bit of time.
Overall - big thanks to Chai, his crew and Vallarta Tours for an unforgettable day!

Fun day - What a fun time! The check in at the terminal was seemless there's a port fee of about $2USD to pay then you proceed to the check in line for your journey with Vallarta Adventures. We visited Yelapa & Majahuitas beach that included the beach BBQ. They provided coffee, donuts, juice and fruit on the way there. First stop was yelapa we walked to the waterfall with Dani as our guide. It's uphill but not hard by any means. From there they took us snorkeling then to Majahuitas beach. This place is an oasis. The food was amazing! Ribs, chicken, pasta salad, potatoes, rice and salsa were offered. You also had a selection of bread and chips. Beer or hibiscus water are the drink choices. You have plenty of time here to walk the grounds and hang out and relax on the beach. You can swim, paddle board, kayak etc. The ride home is where the party continues great music and drinks are flowing. The crew put on a lip syncing show toward the end of your journey that is great! This was a day full of fun a must do if you’re in PV!

Tour with gusto to little - The snorkeling activity was fine, we could see a lot of fish. Although the water was quite cold for the time of year. The duration of the activity seemed fair.
In Yelapa we stayed on the beach while another group went to the waterfall. You have to choose between one activity or another. We were there for two hours, the scenery is beautiful although the waters are not suitable for swimming because of the strong waves and depth.
Then we went to Majahuitas where we were given a full buffet lunch. The problem is the time dedicated to this part of the tour, enough for lunch and do just one activity or be on the beach 15'. There are no kayaks even for half the people who are on the tour and you have to take turns in 5 minute walks. Here we were very unhappy as they gave preference to American tourists when we were before them in line. Maybe craving your tips. On the other hand the tour description mentioned banana ride and that never happened. They had them on the side of the beach and never used them.
We returned to the port at 3.30, they could add half an hour more to the tour and improve the experience.

Cleanliness and Sanitation Concerns - While we had a fantastic experience with Vallarta Adventures and their staff, the Village of Yelapa unfortunately left a lot to be desired in terms of cleanliness and sanitation. The Vallarta Adventures staff were friendly, attentive, and ensured we had a great time on the boat and at the first beach. The equipment was well-maintained, the boat was clean, and the bathrooms were kept in good condition.
However, the Village of Yelapa significantly detracted from what would have otherwise been an enjoyable excursion. The hike to the waterfall, while scenic, passed through a narrow uphill path where we encountered a number of sanitation issues. The area was crowded with local vendors, children running around, and stray dogs. Many of the walkways were covered in dog waste, and unfortunately, tourists and children walked through it, making the experience quite unpleasant. There was also garbage scattered along the path, and some structures were dilapidated and unfinished.
Upon reaching the top, the viewing station was in poor condition, and the bathrooms were in a state that made us question their hygiene standards. The toilets were broken, there was no running water, and the overall cleanliness was extremely lacking. We paid a fee to use the facilities, and they were in worse condition than an outhouse. Thankfully, a fellow tourist provided hand sanitizer, as I had left mine on the boat. We were disheartened to see others entering the water after walking through the unsanitary conditions on the way up.
In contrast, Vallarta Adventures’ beach area at Majahuitas was well-maintained, with clean facilities and a pleasant atmosphere. The BBQ lunch was enjoyable, and their restrooms were clean and accessible.
We recommend reconsidering the trek to the waterfall unless there are improvements made in the area, as the lack of sanitation really impacted our overall experience. I personally would recommend staying on the beach and forgetting the trek to the waterfall. I did not take photos of the gross conditions as I hope to forget them in the near future. The tall waterfall is the one at the top of Yalapa the other one with the building is at the first beach so don't mistake the clean for the dirty.

It's a scam. - Don't book with these guys. It's a scam. Website says a departure time of 8:30, when boat leaves NV actually at 8 am. Missed the departure by minutes, no refund. Only option to book another day. Blamed me for not checking the confirmation.
Live and learn I guess.
