- Mizdakhan Necropolis - This site extends 2 km in one direction and 1 km in another, encompassing three distinct low-lying hills and part of the adjacent plain. The most prominent section is located on the hills to the south of the main road. This area is split into two parts: a vast necropolis spans the two largest hills nearest to Xojeli, while the remnants of a walled citadel and fortress are situated atop the smaller hill to the southwest of the necropolis. The citadel and fort are referred to as Gyaur qala, an Arabic term meaning “Infidel Fort.” There is another Gyaur qala near the Amu Darya in southern Karakalpakstan and a third at Merv in Turkmenistan.
- The Karakalpakstan State Museum of Art named after I.V. Savitsky - Also known as the Nukus Museum, this institution houses the world’s second-largest collection of Russian avant-garde art, following the Russian Museum in St. Petersburg. It also boasts one of the largest collections of archaeological artifacts and folk, applied, and contemporary art from Central Asia.
- Chilpik Dakhma/Kala - Over 2200 years old, Chilpik Kala or Dakhma Chilpik is a circular, roofless tower standing 15 meters high, 35 meters from the ground, and 65 meters in diameter, built atop a rounded natural hill. It is recognized as an ancient Zoroastrian Tower of Silence, renowned for Uzbekistan Tours as the earliest example of the traditional funerary ritual of ancient times.
