Great day with beautiful snorkeling experiences - We were picked up from the hotel on time. Then we went on a boat trip. First we went to see the dolphins, then we went snorkeling. It was a wonderful experience with lots of different fish underwater! Then we visited the Nungwi Aquarium. Here you can splash around in a pool with sea turtles and feed them. A great experience! Both the guide and the driver were super nice! We can only recommend this trip!

Great tour - This tour was truly a memorable one. It was really fun swimming with the family of dolphins, snorkeling with many colorful fish, feeding the sea turtles and then relaxing at all the beaches. This was a great tour and highly recommend!

To redo - We went with 2 friends, and it was the birthday present I gave my friend. The taxi came to pick us up a little late but we were in no hurry, the guide and the driver were very nice, explained to us the history of Zanzibar and Tanzania. The order of the program was not followed but that was not a problem. We started by going to Mnemba to see the dolphins, an incredible experience even if a few tourist boats were also already there. My friend was seasick and we continued directly towards the sandbanks. Magnificent landscapes, white sand and clear water. The sky was gray but the place remains incredible! Few tourists were present at that time, we had the islands only to ourselves, we were able to enjoy a fruit platter prepared by our guide. We then went snorkeling, it was incredible, we had a great time there, it wasn't too short. Lots of boats and tourists present but you just have to move away a little if you are embarrassed. On the way back we went to the turtle aquarium, a very funny experience, an algae jump is provided at the entrance, my friend was pinched by a turtle who thought she was eating algae but nothing serious. The guide took several photos of us, very good memories. After that we went to eat then visit Nungwi, which is still pretty but not the best beach on the island in my opinion and my friend being ill we cut the visit short ourselves, we did not see Kendwa beach.

Nice - The tour is fine and the tour guide was friendly. The turtle zoo could be skipped, too many people and facility in bad condition.

Fun day excursion - The day excursion was great and filled with many things to do. I wish there was more explanation of what was going to take place initially. We were driven to the north side of the island and then were able to go to the destinations listed. In my mind we were going to take a boat from stone town to the north side of the island. But again, it was fun and we were able to see lots of different things. A variety of fruits were provided.

Not so successful day trip - No guided tour by the guide. Just a transfer with brief commentary. The process was basically left up to us and we were asked where we were going next. A small bottle of drinking water was handed out at the beginning (a drop in the ocean on a full-day trip). There was no snorkeling equipment (luckily we had our own with us). There was practically no visit to the fishing village, it was just a drop off on the beach with a few words (10 minutes of the planned 1 hour were taken away). There was no sunset on the beach, because we drove back at around 4 o'clock. The guide didn't even get out of the car when we were dropped off at the hotel (we gave a tip), only the driver. All in all, with a 30 minute delay when we were picked up, it was unfortunately not a very successful day :-(

RUBBISH DAY - I wish I would have spent the day back at my hotel by the beach. The only reason I’m giving this review a 2 star is because of the lovely time we had with the turtles and beautiful pictures that were taken for us by the workers at the aquarium. Our tour guide was very basic, at times I thought she had no clue what she was doing. She turned up nice and early at our hotel but just sat at reception, didn’t notify anyone just sat there until I came looking for her. Long story short, don’t bother with the dolphin swimming. Such a waste of time. 30+ boats all chasing 1 dolphin. Tour guide had no clue and even tried to get us on the boat without fins until we kicked up a fuss. She said her captain only borrows fins from one supplier and he had run out. I had to force her to use another supplier. Once on the boat her instructions where ‘when I say jump you jump ok’ as soon as a dolphin was seen she would shout ‘JUMP, look down look down’ an absolute joke. The visits to the beach were even worse. We got the entrance of Nungwi beach and she said what do you think of the beach. We replied nice and she said ok let’s go. Then we went to Kenwa beach and same thing. Simply wasted our day to drive from the south of the island all the way to the north for this. If you want to do real snorkelling use Safari blue.
