Drive from Samarkand or Bukhara to Khayat

Jizzakh - Journey through scenic mountain roads to Jizzakh, with a stop at the local Bazaar.

Nuratau Mountains - Travel to Ukhum village, hike in the national park, and visit the remnants of a Mongol fortress and an operational water mill.

Drive to Ukhum, hike and drive back to starting point

Ukhum - Explore the ancient irrigation channels, petroglyph site, and national park.

Hiking Sentob - drive to starting point or to next city as an option

Sentob - Hike through the village, visit the nearby breeding enclosure of the highly endangered Severtsov’s wild sheep. According to official statistics, approximately 2000 wild sheep live outside the enclosure in the Nuratau Mountains valleys. From the enclosure, continue walking up to the ruins of the local fortress Shaxi Korgon situated on the hill opposite the enclosure.
