Additional Information

Discover the darker side of Nuremberg on this small-group evening walking tour (in English). With its bloody medieval history, Nuremberg has no shortage of gruesome tales of torture, murder, execution, and death. As the Ghosts and Gallows title suggests, once the executioner’s job is done, sometimes something remains.

Your professional paranormal guide will lead you through the darkening streets of the Old Town; sharing tales of haunted places, ghastly rituals, medieval torture, the shadows of the Third Reich, and even aliens from outer space. As night falls, we guarantee that you’ll never look at Nuremberg the same way again.

Good Time - We learned a lot about Nuremberg's creepy history. Katrina was awesome. She was very informative and SUPER PATIENT with my 10, 9 and 7 yr-old grandkids. She kept them busy with all her stories. Thank you!

A Ghostly Tour Exploring Nuremberg's Haunted Past - Joining Katrina on her ghost tour through Nuremberg was an unforgettable journey into the shadows of history. As we wandered the ancient cobblestone streets of the Altstadt, Katrina's storytelling prowess transported us to a realm where the past intertwined with the supernatural. Amidst the haunting whispers of the city's haunted corners—such as the Kaiserburg Castle, the Executioner's Bridge, and Albrecht Dürer's House—each location bore witness to its chilling tale, expertly narrated by Katrina. Notably, she paused to acknowledge the “stumbling stones”, brass plaques, a poignant reminder of the Holocaust's somber legacy, emphasizing the importance of remembrance. Katrina's ghost tour offers a spellbinding fusion of Nuremberg's history and mystery, making it an essential experience for all who seek to unearth the city's darker essence. Whether you're a history enthusiast, an adrenaline junkie, or intrigued by the supernatural, this tour promises to leave you enraptured, offering a glimpse into the enigmatic past that continues to echo through the city's ancient squares and alleyways.

Amazing time! Amazing tour company! - I’ve done many tours with BlackBook Tours as I’m often in München, and I was so happy to learn that they were expanding to my hometown in Nürnberg that I signed up for their very first tour! The tour covered topics I wasn’t expecting like UFOs and the Third Reich, but it was truly fascinating even as a local. Highly recommend this tour and this company to any horror lovers visiting Nürnberg or München!

Finally something spooky and fun to do for English speaking tours in Nuremberg! - As if the old town in Nuremberg wasn't creepy enough at night, I was so happy to find an English speaking ghost tour during my overnight trip to Nuremberg! The guide Katrina was such an engaging story teller and brought the stories to life, this was a brand new tour for her and she mentioned that it will only get better from here, I can't imagine how, as it's already fantastic! A must do for dark tourism fans while visiting!
