Great historical tour of Nuremberg. - Our guide, Paul, has an unbelievable level of knowledge of the history of not only Nuremberg, but the world. He has a personal connection to Nuremberg which helps bring things to life. He showed his compassionate nature when he stopped his lecture to help a woman with a cane struggling to walk up a hill carrying bags of groceries. He kept the group on time for transportation. The tour was supposed to be 4 hours, but due to his love of the topic and the city it lasted 5 1/2 hours. It was a great day and we were very fortunate to have Paul as our guide.

Berlin Walking Tour - Our guide, Andrew, helped make our walking tour extremely interesting and even allowed us to forget how long we were walking. We were able to see the beauty of Nuremberg and at the same time understand the rich history of the city. We also were able t experience some of the food and drinks unique to the area. We really appreciate that Firebird Tours arranged this private tour for us.

Get your steps in as you learn much about Nürnberg! - Paul was a fantastic tour guide! He kept the pace going through Old Town Nürnberg, stopping at good intervals to provide interesting history & stories that kept us engaged. There was so many neat things to learn about the various churches, buildings & places in Old Town. He even brought us to a stall that gave us a piece of the traditional gingerbread cookies. You are given a short time in the Christmas Market and then time for lunch that has traditional Franconian food. You then take a public bus to get to the Nazi Rally Grounds. You walk for a little bit to the grounds, so be sure to wear warm clothes and comfortable shoes. It is crazy that you can actually stand where Hitler once did! Paul covers a broad range of Germany’s history as you walk through areas that are discussed. If you really want to learn about Nürnberg and get some local history… sign up for this tour!

Nuremberg echoes the past as one views remains in the present - Nuremberg was nearly destroyed during WWII, but some of the original gateways and watchtowers remain. It was the site of Zeppelin Field's Nazi rallies and later as the site of the war crimes trials at the Palace of Justice. Pictured are remains of the field with huge granite seating areas and the raised podium from where Hitler gave his speeches.

Free and easy nuremburg old town. - Went on our own. Not on conducted tour. Free and easy to explore. The old town pretty easy to navigate using Google map. Informative. There's a history to the city's canal. Do read about it at tge dign board. Worth a visit.

Average tour and a little expensive. - Nazi Rally Grounds were good. Did not spend enough time at the castle. Guide had a good voice but some of his information was questionable.

Poor show - I booked the 4 hour tour but couldn’t take it because the tour was spread over at least 5 hours and didn’t run according to its description. You do the town centre in the morning and the Nazi visit in the afternoon. That was false advertising.
