However the lake was mainly used for leisure and recreation after it was built. At its peak of fame, Gregory Lake was the most prominent attraction in the area and was used a place to relax by many visitors.

White water rafting in Kutulgala - Amazing adventure. Very enjoyable and had fun. New experience and water sport on The Kelani river. You can enjoy your white water rafting adventure on your way to Nuwaraeliya via kitulgala

Awesome Experience... - This is my 2nd time and this is way better than the first time... Instructor was very patient and clear in English. He clearly says what to do and What not to do. This was cheaper than my last time. Me and Wife felt very safe all through the event. We did River Rafting, Water Stream Sliding and Confidence Jump(took forever to get the confidence). Also, the Pick service was arranged from our Hotel in Kandy. Chaminda, the Tour guide was exceptional and polite. We learnt a lot from him about Kandy and SRI Lanka. He took us to nice, local shops where Tea and Food was good. I really really suggest this trip.
