Aberdare National Park - Day 1: Our experienced guide/driver will collect you and commence the journey to Aberdare National Park. The route takes you through the highlands of central Kenya with opportunities to observe tea and coffee farms. By approximately 1200 hours, you’ll reach the Aberdare Country Club for a midday meal. Post-lunch, a lodge vehicle will convey you into the park. An afternoon safari awaits, where you might spot elephants, black rhinos, leopards, spotted hyenas, olive baboons, black and white colobus monkeys, buffalos, among others. On the off chance, you may also encounter Giant Forest Hogs, bongos, and various large felines. The park offers leisure activities such as picnicking, river trout fishing, and camping in the moorlands. Bird enthusiasts can revel in the sight of over 250 bird species within the park.
Aberdares to Nairobi
Aberdare National Park - Enjoy an early meal at the Ark Lodge and spend the morning watching wildlife from the lodge’s deck. At around 1200 hours, return to the lodge for lunch before embarking on your return trip to Nairobi. You’ll be dropped off at your hotel or the airport upon arrival.
