• Viaduct Harbour - Meet us at the “Big White Boat” in Viaduct Harbour. By day, the Viaduct Harbour is bustling with numerous restaurants and bars, and by night, it comes alive with lights!

Viaduct Harbour, previously known as Viaduct Basin, is a former commercial harbour on Auckland’s waterfront that has been transformed into a development featuring upscale apartments, office spaces, and restaurants. It was a hub of activity during the 2000 America’s Cup hosted by the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron and the 2022 Rally New Zealand, gaining significant popularity among locals and tourists. It also serves as the base for round-the-world yacht races, the annual boat show, and various other events.

You’ll start your morning with a delightful breakfast before we embark on a quick tour of the local area. We’ll make sure to show you the best spots for photo opportunities!

• Albert Park - From the Viaduct, we’ll pass the container terminal and the waterfront area near the historic “Custom House,” then head to City Central before making our way to Albert Park. This beautiful spot offers a great view of the city and a chance to enjoy nature. Along the way, we’ll stop at many of the historic university buildings before heading to our next location.
• Auckland Museum - We’ll drive to our next stop, the Auckland Museum, but not before passing key sites like K-Rd, Grafton Bridge, and other hidden gems that only locals know about.

The Auckland Museum is surrounded by beautiful park grounds, with lush green grass, trees, and various types of waterfowl. We’ll take you on a peaceful nature walk past ferneries, ponds, and enclosed gardens filled with wonderful flowers and fauna.

Next, we’ll have a quick visit to the Museum itself, but you can return later if you wish. Time is limited, so we’ll move on to the next place!

• Devonport - Devonport is another must-visit place in Auckland. We’ll head back to the Viaduct and take the ferry across to Devonport, a place that has remained almost unchanged since the Victorian Era buildings were constructed around 1830.

You’ll absolutely love this quaint little village.

We’ll have lunch at one of our favorite spots, with the first drinks on us! Watch people fish from the wharf and see dozens of boats come and go as locals enjoy the peaceful waters around the harbour.

We’ll then explore the village, and you might be tempted to grab an ice cream or do some souvenir shopping.

• North Head Historic Reserve - We’ll drive to the historic North Head Reserve.

North Head is one of the oldest volcanic cones in the Auckland volcanic field, formed over 50,000 years ago in a series of volcanic eruptions. It was one of three cone pa in the Devonport area.

North Head has a long history of Maori occupation and coastal fortification. It is considered the most significant coastal defence site in New Zealand due to the size and variety of its defence installations, which span nearly 120 years and include elements from all periods of New Zealand’s coastal defence history.

We’ll provide torches so you can explore the tunnels!

You could easily spend all day here, but we’ll only stay for a couple of hours before heading to our next adventure.

• Cornwall Park - After returning from Devonport on the ferry, we’ll drive to Cornwall Park.

Cornwall Park is a slice of countryside in the heart of Auckland. You’ll enjoy its nature, experience the working farm, play games on the expansive lawns, run or walk its paths, listen to the birds, or simply relax under your favorite tree. Cornwall Park has been part of Auckland’s landscape since 1903, gifted to New Zealanders by Sir John Logan Campbell and placed in a trust for future generations.

Cornwall Park’s gardens, plants, and trees are a significant part of its charm. There are 12 flower gardens, 425 hectares, and over 8,000 trees for you to discover.

• Auckland Central - Now for the big surprise, we’ve saved the best for last.
