Waiʻanae Small Boat Harbor
Farrington Highway
The Waianae Small Boat Harbor is located on the west coast of Oahu (1 hour from Waikiki). If you are driving, please arrive 30 minutes before the tour time and check-in at the brown double-story building that faces the harbor. The crew will check you in and give you an overview of the day!

Fabulous experience - snorkeling with dolphins ! - It was a marvelous experience (2/16/25). The morning was misty, rainy even, but by 11 all cleared and it ended up being warm sunny day.
The crew was fantastic: Lauren and Stefan at the helm, Cristin (and another coach) diving. All of them were knowledgeable, very skilled, super kind and fun!! We found a pod of dolphins, 7 or 8 of them. They we so joyful, playful, swimming all around us. You could almost touch them. We went to the water twice swimming with them. We also saw several whales jumping! Later, we anchored in a little cove, had lunch and swam with turtles. Lunch was super tasty sandwiches or vegie wraps, + chips. Plenty of drinking water on the boat.
It was a fabulous experience. I strongly recommend it !!!

Great organization - Guys are very professional in what they do. Everything was organized well, on time, no mistakes.
Today there were no dolphins, but we did see a whale and turtes

Dolphins, turtles, whales and a shark! - The highlight of my stay on Oahu! Lauren, Koa and TJ really know their creatures and made it a special trip. Close up encounters with multiple dolphins, a large (beautiful) shark, turtles and whales. Could it get any better? Yes, the weather and ocean conditions were perfect. Book this tour!

Absolutely unforgettable! Wonderful experience! - It was a breathtaking experience! Thank Captain TJ and Christine. They are so knowledgeable about the sea and respectful and friendly! They are good at finding marine life! We saw a big group of melon-headed whales False killer whales, some Humpback whales, a seal and a little hammerhead shark! There were some other species as well. I am still very excited that we swam with the dolphins in the deep water area.

Unforgettable experience - Dolphins, Whales + Turtles - What an incredible Christmas Eve we had on this tour!
We were on the cruise ship docked in Honolulu, unfortunately they didn’t do a pick up here but we got a quick uber to Ala Moana Hotel where we were picked up by the loveliest gentleman, the drive was over an hour but the sights were lovely and our driver was very informative!
We arrived ready for the tour and saw turtles in the harbour which was a fun surprise. The speedboat was awesome, you could sit on the edge of it as it crashed over the waves and we went in search of dolphins.
The captain and tour guides were wonderful and got just as excited as all of us when we spotted some hump back whales!
Swimming with the dolphins was an unforgettable experience- just make sure you’re a confident swimmer.
The snorkelling spot was great, we got to spend time with a turtle!
We opted to have the professional photos after and they didn’t disappoint (this was an additional $30 I think, there were 3 in our party so was well worth it) - so make sure you get as many as pictures as you can during the trip.

Amazing Dolphin Swim - This tour exceeded my expectations. My husband, son (9 yrs old), and I went. There was an amazing crew of Captain Lauren, Morgan and Rebecca. They were so knowledgeable and kind to us. Very encouraging. We were able to swim with dolphins! See sea turtles and we also had an extraordinary treat of seeing 2 hump back whales.
Yuya was able to capture the entire experience with his photography.
I would recommend going with this awesome team and when we come back to Hawaii we will seek going with this crew again!
Thanks so much for making our first trip to Hawaii a life time memory.

got lucky, whales, dolphins, and sea turtles - what more can i say, whales, dolphins, and sea turtles, we took the 11:30am group, the captain was awesome and the crew very helpful and friendly, highly recommend, bring lots of sunblock, of course your mileage may vary, but we got the trifecta! i saw the advertisement at the kewalo basin harbor so i figured the boat left from there, however it takes off from the westcoast of oahu in a town called waianae. at first i chose the option without transportation, but then realized that it's a 40-60m ride from waikiki, messaged their customer support and they relatively quickly added transportation.

Baby Dolphins & Sea Turtles! - An absolutely magical experience with Iruka Hawaii Dolphin! We had three opportunities to enter the water and witness wild dolphins in their natural habitat - and incredibly, we saw them every single time! It was especially touching to see baby dolphins swimming alongside their pod. The crew and captain were exceptional - not only were they incredibly friendly, but their knowledge and expertise really enhanced our understanding of these magnificent creatures.
One of the unexpected highlights was a peaceful encounter with a sea turtle. I was able to swim above it for what felt like forever, creating a serene and unforgettable moment.
A pro tip: definitely spring for the photo package. Being able to fully immerse ourselves in the experience without worrying about capturing photos was invaluable, and now we have professional shots to help us relive these precious memories. Perfect for a family adventure!

Best Excursion You Can Do on Oahu! - We have been on two prior Dolphin excursions here but never with this group. They were AMAZING! We will go every time we come back now with them. They are so professional yet fun. Great email communication in advance. Pick you up right in Waikiki free which saves you least $90 in uber fees. On time pick up and drop off in a beautiful van. We laughed both ways with the driver. He told us about things we passed so learned things too. Stopped at Starbucks for coffee and break on the drive which was nice. The boat was great but TJ the driver, Morgan our snorkel leader and our photographer were great! Loved the Hawaiian chant too. Highly recommend buying photos so you can enjoy real time but have memories after. Just $65 per group! We saw spinner dolphins, flying fish, a pod of at least 200 wild bottle nose dolphins which was a nursing pod so saw babies of all sizes. So curious they came right up to the boat and close enough when we were in the water. Fish galore - yellow, blue. White/black striped, parrot fish, you name it. Saw and swam with at least 8 turtles! We even saw an eagle ray when snorkeling. Could not have been better. Lunch was great - fresh yummy sandwiches, chips, etc. highly recommend!!!

Wonderful experience, wonderful crew! - This was the second trip we have taken with this company and it was just as wonderful as the first. The crew was kind, safe, and full of knowledge. We were able to swim with two different pods of dolphins and many sea turtles! We will certainly treat ourselves to another excursion soon.
