Great e-bikes from Hele on Waikiki - We had a great time riding Hele e-bikes to Diamond Head. They make getting around Honolulu easy & fun, with the pedal assistance most of us can do it, who forgets to ride a bike!

Simple bike rental, not a tour! - Safety was a concern in that one bike had no headlight, one bike had no phone mount for gps, both featured no mirrors. Requests for a paper map/in case offline were not offered. Vague verbal directions were reluctantly provided. The employees were less than helpful with recommendations (points of interest) and just said use your gps.

Felt unsafe - Sketchy ride through Waikiki… bike lanes were blended into roads where cars drive. We felt uneasy and it wasn’t the safest ride. I would recommend a less populated area and a guide.
