- USS Arizona Memorial - The Arizona Memorial is the most visited attraction in the State of Hawaii. This memorial is built over the wreck of the battleship USS Arizona. It stands as a memorial to everyone who died in the Japanese surprise attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. This attack pulled the United States into WWII. The memorial is also a memorial to the 1,177 sailors and marines who died aboard the USS Arizona when a Japanese bomb detonated her ammunition magazine. Representing almost half of the 2,403 US military personnel who died in the attack. The Arizona Memorial spans the wreck of the battleship but does not touch it. The driver will take you into the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center, orient you, and present to you the Reserved tickets for the Arizona Memorial. From there, you will have a chance to see the two Pearl Harbor Museums and explore the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center. Humbling visit - Tom was a great guide, tour operator was very accommodating with a last minute schedule change request. Memorable, humbling visit to BB-39 Memorial. Entire park is full of history leading up to US entry into WWII all the way through end of war.

Pearl Harbor tribute. - It was a nice experience remembering those who lost their lives. It's also sad to think this was unnecessary that so many lives were lost. Never forget.

It was a cool experience... - It was a cool experience getting to go to Pearl Harbor and I could see it going perfectly well for any one else that books this tour. I think for us a few things just happened to go slightly wrong. We had no AC in the van on the way up so it was super hot. Then on the way back we were told to meet back where we got dropped off at 11:00, but the driver did not pick us up until about 11:20 so we were standing in the hot sun for 20+ minutes just hoping that we weren’t forgotten about.
