• 2699 Kalākaua Ave - Hop on the Surf School Bus and we’ll transport you from your Waikiki accommodation to the beach, ready to surf! We provide a free courtesy shuttle. Our experienced staff will greet you at one of our convenient hotel pick-up spots. You’ll love riding in our air-conditioned, clean, and easily recognizable yellow Surf School Bus or white shuttle with our logo. After our friendly team introduces themselves, we’ll take you to our Ohana Surf Center at the Waikiki Beach Marriott. There, you’ll check-in, gear up, and be shuttled to the beach for some stand-up paddle boarding!

Once at the ocean, you’ll meet your instructor to discuss your previous experience, swimming ability, or any concerns. Then, we’ll have you carry your high-quality lesson boards to the beach. When you’re ready, we’ll leash ourselves to the boards and head into the water!

After the lesson, you’ll return to the Ohana Surf Center to view photos, videos, or purchase some merchandise for yourself or friends. Once you’ve made your purchases, we’ll drive you back to one of our convenient drop-off locations.

Come join us and enjoy the best paddle boarding experience Waikiki can offer! The Group Lesson is an affordable way for participants 13 and older to try paddle boarding for the first or 50th time. Our group lessons offer that perfect mix of individual attention in a team environment. Everyone improves and everyone has fun. Our group sizes vary, but have a ratio of 1 instructor for every 4 students. With our high-quality boards, reef shoes and rash-guard shirts, instruction and video-viewing, and best-in-class, professional guides, we provide the ultimate group paddle boarding lesson.

• 2 person minimum. Must be 13 years or older and able to swim to join the Open Group Lesson.
• If any participants cannot swim please advise the staff ahead of time as a private lesson will be recommended.
• If any participants have any medical conditions or injuries that we should be aware of please advise the staff ahead of time.
• If you are prone to seasickness, you may want to take a remedy you are accustomed to using before the lesson (talk to your doctor for recommendations).
• Please come prepared for the lesson by wearing your bathing suit, bringing a towel and making sure to apply sunscreen ahead of time.
• All of our written materials are also available in Spanish, Japanese, Korean and Chinese. With at least 24 hours notice, we will do our best to accommodate Spanish, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese speaking-instructors.
• Complimentary transportation is available from select locations in Waikiki. Exact pick-up location and time will be emailed to you by the supplier. If you do not receive these details 24 hours prior to your lesson, please contact us.
