Amazing tour with Victor. - Wonderful tour. Victor was so knowledgeable and engaging. He explained everything in detail of what we were eating. Come hungry as you will leave full. Portions of the samples were huge. He also ensured that we had to go containers for bringing the extra food back to our hotel. Highly recommend this tour and highly recommend Victor as the guide.

Willing to learn/try new foods? - This tour is just as described- casual, unfussy, and definitely off the beaten path! I had the very best raw tuna in my life, plus tried several new (and some weird) foods. Not typical tourist food at all! It was a part of town I probably wouldn’t have found, but was very interesting. The guides were fantastic- engaging and informative, and attentive to guests’ needs. Very cool experience if you’re open/willing to get out of your comfort zone.

Fun Food Experience in China Town - Highly recommend this tour! Was picked up from our hotel in a 12-passenger van with other guests. TJ was on-time and so knowledgeable about the area. First stop in China Town was pork buns. Yum! We ate pork adobo, various fruits, poke, octopus, fresh tuna, green cake, duck, and crunchy caramelized bananas. A total of 14 things with a couple surprise samplings of fresh shellfish and prawns. Most of the food sampled we had never had before. It was also a great opportunity to support a local Hawaiian business and small food vendors in China Town. TJ and Victor were great hosts. You won't regret taking this tour.

Challenge your tastebuds 😋 - Our guides Victor and TJ made this tour for sure a worthwhile. All sorts of delicacies tasted at locations around Chinatown Honolulu which me and my family probably never would have spotted. Meat Fish Fruits 👌

Taste Sensational Honolulu - Vincent is phenomenal!! Expert at Hawaiian culture and well as the food experiences in both downtown and Chinatown Honolulu!! Highly recommend taking the tour and exploring/expanding your culinary palette!! The 3 hours fly by as you taste amazing foods and learn from the local vendors why and where these foods came to Hawaii!! You will not be disappointed!! Worth every penny/moment!!

A Quick History Lesson Through Food - I am so glad I found this tour through TripAdvisor. Victor has a magnetic energy that makes him warm, friendly and hospitable. We had a great time and feel like we made a friend for life. A bonus for us was that he also spoke Cantonese, which made my dad feel more comfortable. We love to eat and would not intentionally have eaten most of the things during our trip to Hawaii had we not done this tour; not because we don't like it, but because I think we all just tend to stick with what's familiar. Doing this food tour really made this trip memorable and helped experience Hawaii through food.

BEST FOOD TOUR - This was such a fun and informative food tour. We learned a lot about the history of the island. We were a party of 5. Victor, our guide, was so nice and accommodating. My family truly enjoyed it. We left this food tour stuffed and couldn’t eat for hours. We got our monies worth. You will not be disappointed.

Come hungry to this great food tour - Great food tour! Vic our guide was outstanding. I have a food allergy but Vic did a great job accommodating this with other foods. Be open to try new foods as this is not your typical tourist Hawaiian food, but you will be rewarded with a great experience.
