Great Introduction to all Hawaii. - Not only was I solo on this back country hike on Oahu, I had a great hiking experience as the only customer hiking with the two Polynesian brothers who lead the hiking tours and the two new training leaders who were hiking this trail for the first time! Normally they would have cancelled because of their 2 hiker minimum but they went ahead so the new training leaders could take the hike. Great experience wading across streams and learning about the natural history and native, Polynesian, and invasive plant life in Hawaii, and the language and culture of the Polynesian peoples. It was the second day of my first trip to Hawaii and it really put me right in the middle of it all.

Wonderful Hiking Excursion - My wife and I did the Little Hiking Tour with guide Ryan, and it was an excellent half-day experience that I highly recommend to anyone visiting Oahu. Beautiful views and super informative, Ryan's passion for conservation and knowledge of the area's ecology made for an unforgettable and well-rounded experience. I would definitely go back to check out any of their other excursion options!

Amazing views and so much fun - Great time on our Little Adventure! Learned so much about history of Oahu while hiking through the amazing North Shore. Ryan was an incredible guide. Wonderful morning out and easily doable with a 10-year-old.

Best tour we did in our entire trip! - Outstanding 4 hour hike! The description is accurate - rugged, heights, ensure you're physically able to navigate interesting terrain. Our Guide Ryan was so helpful, fun and educational. He had intricate knowledge of every inch of the trail, catered to the varying ability levels and was passionate about conservation and Hawaiian history. Highly recommend this as one of the first things you do in Oahu because you'll have so much more knowledge about the island to adjust rest of your trip. The lunch they pack you was yummy as well, yummy spring rolls!

A Tour that Challenges both Mind and Body. - First, a warning to all you "older folks" who think you can handle anything. The tour description says clearly, if you have leg, knee or hip issues, this tour might not be for you. I must have missed that part, and it is absolutely accurate. Our guide Ryan was exceptional, friendly and funny, knowledgeable and helpful. At the beginning of the hike he loaded us up with backpacks, lunch, water and snacks to fortify us for the adventure, and gave us a quick overview of what we could expect. Away we went, down a mountain trail into the jungle. In my mind, I had envisioned a leisurely stroll through a flowery glade where I could take lots of photos. What it turned in to was (in my 71 year old opinion) a 4 hour iron man competition, ending with a steep uphill trail of switchbacks roughly the height of an 11 story building. You might think I'm complaining - I am not. Ryan was careful to keep us all on the trail, narrate the natural and unique features of the jungle, the ecological challenges it faces and Hawaiian laws that protect certain species. He provided rest spots when he deemed it necessary. A beautiful Air Force couple took it on themselves to be our guardians, and during the final ascent, Ryan was right with me and my wife, helping for the final push to the summit... Any difficulties I had were the result of my overestimating my capabilities and endurance. Ryan and the other members of the expedition were absolutely kind and helpful, and I cannot recommend the tour more highly. Just make sure you're in shape...

Wonderful hike! - Our hike with Keola is one of the highlights of our trip to O’ahu. Stunning views, just the right combination of relaxing hiking and a few thrills scrambling through the valleys, and a tour guide who is passionate about the Hawaiian environment & culture and generous in sharing his knowledge. Mahalo!

Perfect guided hike - This was a wonderful way to kick-off our Hawaiian vacation. We hiked with Pono and Sid, who were both amazing, helpful guides. The hike was thrilling - it was sufficiently challenging, but short enough so my two 12-year-olds and my 72 year old mom were able to complete it without complaining. What was really special was the information that our guides shared with us on everything from Hawaiian culture, to local plants and invasive species. We learned so much and talked about the knowledge shared by them for the rest of our vacation, I think it really helped us to appreciate the island on a different level than we would have as typical tourists. I would 100% do this again!

Perfect guided hike for everyone! - We had a fantastic hiking experience today with tour guide, Ryan. This short but sufficiently challenging hike was fun for all of us, yes even teens! We learned about the local ecology while taking part in gorgeous scenery. Lunch and everything you could need was included. Would do again in a heartbeat.

Amazing morning in the mountains! - Did this mountain trail hike with my three teenagers and my husband. Even though it says “Little hike” it was a challenging 2 1/2 mile trail though beautiful Hawaiian flora. Our guide Ryan was perfect. He made the hike fun and I felt very at ease with him leading the group. It was an awesome experience of nature run by a business whose whole point is to preserve and protect the integrity of the area. Would recommend for families with older children who are looking to connect with the natural beauty of Hawaii!
