Fun experience - There were six of us (including a 5 year old) and we all enjoyed our hike. We felt we definitely got our moneys worth. I would recommend this activity.

Awesome Hike - We went as a family, 3 adults and 3 kids. We had an awesome experience, Jason and Tomomi did a phenomenal job of sharing new and old Hawaii. The views were amazing, the guides were super knowledgeable and accommodating, and the lunch was yummy! We would definitely book this again.

Nature lovers dream - Small is always more fun. I found the hike easy. If one is not used to walking uphill, there are benches to rest. No mud, lots of rocks. Glad they told me to bring insect repellent. The forest was extraordinary. Loved the view overlooking Honolulu. Driver very nice, with a sense of humour.

Very informative & professionally done. - The girls that conducted the tour were wonderful. They checked on everyone to make sure they were fine. My husband for whatever reason had trouble coming down from the waterfall and one of the girls stayed by his side until he was able to get back down. We are grateful they were so very patient.

Hike to waterfall - we were told that it was an easy hike; but it was a challenge and I consider myself to be in decent shape, but my wife and I boy we thought to be a challenge. Nevertheless, we loved it… Just felt bad for a senior citizen who was unable to make it all the way up … Thank goodness the bus driver drove as close as possible the senior; he managed to get on the bus ok

Go! Get wet! Get Muddy! Have FUN! - Jackson was a knowledgeable guide and driver. The hike was not only interesting, learning about all the plants and history, but the rain made it an even more fun experience. The waterfall was flowing nicely and by the time we hiked back to the beginning, my legs were all muddy and I felt like a kid. We had a tasty picnic lunch and great views of the city. It was a wonderful day and I would recommend, but it might be a bit much for someone unsteady on their feet.

Well Done Tour by Friendly Guides - Even before starting, the communication from Nature and You was first class. F or example, not just sending the address for meeting up, but adding a picture of the actual location. That said, (in the theme of communication) the overall description of activities needs to be more explicit about the trail conditions. It wasn't muddy when we went because some nice rains had washed the rocks clean, but it should be noted that the trail has stones of varying sizes that can affect footing, and all surfaces are uneven. I imagine muddiness could make things more challenging. That plus the humidity deserve a bit more respect, to suggest that the trail is moderately difficult. Regardless, the scenery was beautiful and the hiking experience was great. Our guides were informative, friendly and made us feel like family. Jason was our driver and English language guide. He handled the bus with deftness and the precision of a helicopter pilot (he's still got it). His commentary was informative and light-hearted, much preferred over guides who are frustrated stand-up comics. I didn't catch our Japanese guide's name, but she was so friendly and engaging that I found myself paying attention while not understanding a thing she said. And there was something nice about their handing the mic back and forth and giving us two voices to listen to. We enjoyed our tasty and nutritious lunch overlooking all of metro Honolulu from a lovely park. Then it was all smiles back to our drop-off points.

Go yourself - don’t bother with the tour - Don’t waste your money. The trip was 6 hours when the whole thing could easily have been done in 1.5. Got collected at 9am, had to collect everyone else (which was fine!) BUT then stopped off at the office at 1030am which was a 6 mins walk from my hotel!!!! If you can’t walk don’t come, waiting ages for people who couldn’t walk very well and it isn’t an ‘easy’ hike if you are out of shape. The food was nice and look-out view was good but literally 6 hours to do this was such a waste. Do it yourself honestly. The guides were lovely though
