- Pearl Harbor National Memorial - The Arizona Memorial is the most visited attraction in the State of Hawaii. This memorial is built over the wreck of the battleship USS Arizona. It stands as a memorial to everyone who died in the Japanese surprise attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. This attack pulled the United States into WWII. The memorial is also a memorial to the 1,177 sailors and marines who died aboard the USS Arizona when a Japanese bomb detonated her ammunition magazine. Representing almost half of the 2,403 US military personnel who died in the attack. The Arizona Memorial spans the wreck of the battleship but does not touch it. The Arizona Memorial is only accessible by US Navy-operated shuttle boat.

As a part of this tour, we provide you with a reserved ticket to the USS Arizona Memorial Monument (please consider our disclaimer about the Arizona Memorial ticket), so the worry of securing a ticket is off your shoulders. This brief excursion lasts approximately 4.5 to 5 hours and strictly caters to those residing at hotels in Waikiki Beach. Guests residing elsewhere on the Island will have to travel to the Waikiki Beach locality for pick up.

Memorial Worth the Visit - This is a must see for any American or general history buff. Very well organized with an informative video before heading out to the memorial. A limited time on the memorial, but you're told that ahead of time. Very nice gift shop. We didn't do the submarine. The city tour was interesting as well, but the Arizona is the highlight. I'm not American, but it's still an emotional visit. Worth the price, definitely.

Tour a must when visiting Waikiki - Very interesting tour. Everyone coming to waikiki should be sure to go on this tour. Our tour guide Rowan made the tour of downtown Honolulu very interesting. The snacks ,water and juice were a nice touch.

Pearl Harbor/Honolulu downtown tour - The USS Arizona memorial and Pearl Harbor museums were reverent and informational. Would have like to stay 1-2 hr more, but we had the drive around Honolulu to finish, which was also nice. Our driver (who did most of the narration in the bus) and our guide were knowledgeable and friendly. However, our minibus was cramped and a bit noisy, and the driver was difficult at times to hear since he did not have a mic.

An introductory tour to Oahu - Our guide Rick was great, he made sure we got the most out of our day! He did a great job giving us history as we navigated around Oahu. Pearl Harbor probably needed another 30-45 minutes if not going for the day, which you could absolutely do. The stops we made along the way were perfectly timed to experience both some local culture as well as the key points of interest. Do yourself a favor and try the Dole Whip and fried banana.
I enjoyed the Polynesian Culture center and for us it was enough time but if you have kids and go take the full day!
The only reason I didn’t give a 5 has nothing to do with the trip or driver but I’m allergic to shrimp and the veggie noodle option definitely wasn’t any comparison to what my husband got…..(eat something at Pearl Harbor or pack a snack and then eat at the Polynesian Culture Center) I would book this again and highly recommend!
