Highlights
  • Diamond Head State Monument - Our first point of interest takes us to beautiful Diamond Head Lookout, where you will be able to catch the end of the sunrise. The surf is almost always up at Diamond Head beach, so you can watch the surfers and see other Hawaiian Islands on a clear Day.

*Please understand that this stop is not the Diamond Head State Monument that is inside of the crater. Another name for this location is the Amelia Earhart Lookout.

  • Kahala - After the Diamond Head Lookout, our second point of interest is the Gold Coast in Kahala. This area is like the Beverly Hills of Hawaii. You will see unbelievably large and luxurious properties and expansive estates that are owned by movie stars, celebrities, dignitaries, entrepreneurs, and of course doctors and lawyers. Definitely an interesting sight to take in.
  • Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve - Hanauma Bay is a beautiful marine embayment on the eastern shore of the Hawaiian island of Oahu. It was formed within a volcanic cone and is a protected marine life conservation area that attracts over one million visitors every year. The bay is home to a diverse range of marine life, including over 400 species of fish, sea turtles, and reef sharks. The beach and bay are surrounded by lush green hills, which provide a stunning backdrop to the crystal-clear waters.

Hanauma Bay has a significant historical and cultural significance for the Hawaiian people. The bay was once a site for traditional Hawaiian fishing practices, and the surrounding land was used for farming by ancient Hawaiians.

Please note that due to parking limitations, we are not able to stop at Hanauma Bay. This is a drive by attraction, and the tour guide will provide information.

  • Eternity Beach - Situated Near the blowhole in an incredibly beautiful corner of Oahu is a secret beach made famous in the movie “From Here to Eternity.” This little cove is extraordinary, and one of our hidden gems. If you have some extra time while here on vacation, we recommend that you come back to spend the day… It’s just about the most relaxing place on the planet!
  • Halona Blowhole - After we pass through Kahala, one of the most interesting points along our journey around Oahu is the powerful Halona Blowhole. Come and marvel at this geologic wonder as it shoots water into the heavens. As the waves crash into the rocks, the water moves underneath the rocks from underwater caves. Then the pressure builds up and it shoots the water as high as you can see. One of Oahu’s geologic wonders!
  • Sandy Beach Park - After the Blowhole and Eternity Beach, we’ll come upon the body boarding, body surfing, skim boarding, and broken neck capital of the world… Sandy Beach. A famous hangout for locals, and just amazing playground, Sandy Beach is the perfect place to watch the experts play with expert waves… It’s also a convenient bathroom stop for our tour!
  • Makapuu Lighthouse - Makapu’u is a stunning coastal area located on the eastern side of Oahu, Hawaii. It is known for its iconic lighthouse, scenic hiking trails, and breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean. Visitors can explore the Makapu’u Point Lighthouse Trail, which offers a moderate hike and panoramic views of the coastline. The area is also home to Makapu’u Beach, a popular destination for swimming and bodyboarding.

Historically, Makapu’u played an important role in the defense of Oahu. The lighthouse was built in 1909 to guide ships through the treacherous waters off the coast, and during World War II, the area was used as a lookout and gun emplacement site. Today, the lighthouse and surrounding area are part of the Ka Iwi State Scenic Shoreline, which showcases the natural beauty and cultural heritage of the Hawaiian Islands.

Overall, Makapu’u is a must-visit destination for anyone exploring Oahu.

  • Byodo-In Temple - The Byodo-In Temple is a stunning Buddhist temple located in the Valley of the Temples Memorial Park on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. The temple was built in the 1960s to commemorate the 100-year anniversary of the first Japanese immigrants to Hawaii. It is a replica of a 900-year-old temple in Uji, Japan and features traditional Japanese architecture and beautiful landscaping.

The temple is known for its intricate wood carvings, beautiful gardens, and stunning architecture, which includes a large golden Buddha statue. Visitors can ring the temple bell, which is said to bring good luck, and explore the serene surroundings. The Byodo-In Temple has become a popular destination for tourists and locals alike, offering a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of modern life.

This is a full stop on the tour. The price of admission is not included, but is only $5 per person.

  • Makapu’u Point - After we are pau with Sandy Beach, we will continue our journey and round the Eastern Corner of the Island of Oahu. As we do, you will get a glimpse at one of the most awe-inspiring views that you will ever see. The vista from the Makapu’u Point lookout is truly something to behold… The Bluest of Blues, the Greenest of Greens, ancient jagged lava rock surrounding yellow sand, and the Makapu’u lighthouse sitting stoic in the background. Someone pinch me…
  • Mokoli’i Island - Behold the legendary Mokoli’i Island! This picturesque island off the coast of Kaneohe Bay is a volcanic formation that is about as iconic with the Island of Oahu as Diamond Head. Mokoliʻi translates from Hawaiian as “little lizard.” According to Hawaiian mythology, the island is the remains of a giant lizard’s or dragon’s tail that was chopped off and tossed into the ocean by the goddess Hiʻiaka. Definitely a picture that you need to have stored on your data card.
  • Oahu’s North Shore - The Oahu North Shore is a world-famous destination known for its stunning beaches, iconic surf culture, and breathtaking scenery. The area is home to some of the best surfing spots in the world, including Waimea Bay and Pipeline, which draw professional surfers from around the globe. Visitors can explore the charming town of Haleiwa, which offers unique shops, art galleries, and delicious local cuisine.

The North Shore also has a rich cultural history, dating back to ancient Hawaiian times. The area was once home to numerous fishing communities and is known for its unique style of fishing using handmade nets and canoes. Visitors can learn about this rich cultural heritage.

Overall, the Oahu North Shore is a must-see destination for anyone visiting Hawaii. Its natural beauty, unique culture, and world-renowned surf culture make it an unforgettable experience.

  • Tropical Farms (The Macadamia Nut Farm Outlet) - After passing through Waimanalo, it’s time to go to one our most popular stops… Why is it so popular? Free (all you can eat) Macadamia Nuts and Free (all you can drink) Kona Coffee of course! But it doesn’t stop there, this is a bonafide macadamia nut plantation where you can crack open your own mac nuts, drink cold coconut juice right out of the coconut, mingle with Samoan Chiefs, and find that perfect, unique gift to bring home with you. This is always one of our guests favorite stops. *Note: Please leave a donation if you hit the coffee and nuts pretty hard. =)
  • Kahuku Farms - Mango, Pineapple, Coconut, Breadfruit, Dragon Fruit, Egg Fruit, Lilikoi, Honey Dew, Cantaloupe, Papaya, Apple Bananas, Ice Cream Bananas, Kiwis, Lychee, Rambutan, Sapote, Chi Chi, Jack Fruit… I could go on, but I think I would run out of character limit. The amazing Kahuku Land Fruit Stand has it all… Every fruit that you’ve ever heard of, and definitely every fruit that you’ve never heard off. Enjoy interacting with local farmers and tasting tropical fruits at this fun location.
  • Haleiwa - Okay cousins… Now it’s time to Grind! We’ve had a very busy morning and everyone has worked up quite an appetite. Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered with succulent Kahuku Shrimp & Garlic, Savory Kalua Pork, and other Local and Hawaiian dishes. Kahuku, Hawaii is known to some of the most productive shrimp farms in Hawaii. These premium shrimp are exported all over the world, but now is your change to eat them at there freshest. Non-seafood options too. The buffet is all you can eat. *Note: The cost of lunch is not included in the price of the tour.
  • Haleiwa Alii Beach Park - We have now come upon the highlight of our 16 Point Oahu Circle Island Tour… It’s time to go snorkeling with the Sea Turtles. These curious creatures are docile and overwhelmingly cute. They spend their days hunting seaweed crops that are growing on the rocks and coral out here at this beautiful beach known as Alii Beach in Haleiwa. We will be providing all of the mask, snorkels, life jackets, lifeguards, and safety instruction that you need to have a super fun, super safe time. It’s official… You’ve arrived… You’re on Vacation, and this amazing snorkeling spot is the proof!
  • Dole Plantation - There’s hardly any place more associated with Hawaii than the Dole Pineapple Plantation in Wahiawa, Oahu. It’s also one of our guests favorite stops, and a fantastic way to begin to wrap up this adventurous day. Dole Plantation offers a wide variety of unique gifts and refreshments including fresh pineapple, and DoleWhip ice cream. This is a great spot to watch the Dole Train, grab some things to bring home, or send as gifts.

Absolutely perfect! - Although I’ve been to Hawaii several times, I never took a tour around the island, and decided to do this on our trip last spring. My 16 year old son also enjoyed our tour guide’s knowledge about the history, geography, and culture, and his sense of humor. We saw amazing sites that we wouldn’t have seen on our own, and it was time well spent. Highly recommend!

A great way to see the island - Everything was really nice and informative. The driver Cap was great and accommodating. A couple of things I wish were different, I wish the area to snorkel was at a better location. The location we went to was full of sharp rocks the access to the water was difficult. Also maybe spending less time at the temple and more at the nut farm. Otherwise we enjoyed our day!

Satisfactory with room for improvement - The locations were fantastic, however the allotted time needs to be consolidated more effectively. In some locations I felt satisfied with what I did long before we had to leave and other locations I wish there was more time to see everything there. The snorkeling location fell short of expectations. The water was murky and the shore was very short. I was left confused why we had drove past the beautiful crisp blue beaches and settled for less. It wasn't the worst beach Ive been to but it certainly wasn't the best. Other than that, the tour was pretty much the perfect tour of Oahu you can find. The snorkeling and the time you're given for some stops need to get a little more attention though.

Good trip overall. - Good experience. However, don't put a lot of hope on the snorkeling part, as the area we were taken the waves were rough and murky waters.

High expectations low results - Our tour guide Kap was amazing! The tour stops however, just ok. The dole plantation was closed (not the tour’s fault) the snorkeling was a bust. The beach we go to looks like lake water. Do a tour with the falls instead.

Not happy to say the least - The driver was great he was very knowledgeable with the history of the island.. I know that it's not his fault and out of his control but this experience was not great especially because we chose it for my sons birthday as there are many other tours to choose from but the snorkeling / dole plantation was the main reason for choosing this. The water was murky like a lake so no need for snorkels as you can't see anything and the reviews/pictures are very misleading. Also as we pulled up to the pineapple plantation it was closed due to a water main break so definitely not happy with our experience and I feel that the whole day was wasted.
