- IMPORTANT: The name you enter at the time of booking must exactly match what appears on your valid government-issued I.D. photo I.D. that you will use during travel. This is a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and FAA requirement and there is no flexibility with this policy. A valid government-issued ID (passport for non-US citizens) is required on the day of travel. If a passenger is denied boarding, there will be no refund.

Wonderful Experience - The Polynesian adventure made this whole trip worth while especially with Aki he gave us so much information about the island and the legends even if we just drove around all day we would have enjoyed it. He made it fun and informative

Fantastic - Gabriel was great and very informative . Very friendly and helpfulerexplained everything we saw pointed out many interesting plants and trees and land marks very knowledgeable of the area

Remove the candy shop from the tour ! - The driver Gabriel was great , But the stop at the candy stop was a waste of time. More time at the volcano stop would have given us time to go to Nahuku - Thurston Lava Tube. Very disappointing to go to a shop with candy & coffee instead

Excellent - Dexter was an amazing tour guide. The crater, lava fields and lava tube is a spectacular site to see, walk on/through and experience. The waterfalls are breathtaking! Provided lunch was not the typical dry sandwich. Instead, Dexter provided the group with fresh chicken wraps, Hawaiian chips and cookie and water. The only downfall to this tour is the black sand beach in Hilo was disappointing as it was not as beautiful as i had heard they were. However, we were informed to see the beautiful black sand beaches you have to drive over to Kona. Definitely recommend taking this tour.

Macnuts are the best! - Went on the NCL Best Of Hilo tour with Gabe. It was super cool, fun, and informative! We went to akaka falls, rainbow falls, a candy store, a zoo, and a macnut farm. We had such a great time!

Loved The Waterfalls - Akaka Falls was pretty spectacular. Hawaii Volcanoes National Park was good, but not really great for photos. Rainbow Falls is under-rated.

Volcano tour - Trip was very good, Dexter, the driver, was excellent. His commentry was informative and he passed on a great deal of information, that made the trip even better. He was very helpful by volunteering to take photos of the features with the clients in the foreground.

Think twice! Probably better companies to go with. - While the trip was good, the service that this company offered was not. We took the flight very early in the morning and was supposed to be picked up at the airport between 7:30 and 7:45. By 8:00 there still was no one there to pick us up and there were 9 people waiting on the same bus. We called the company and the girl first told the caller that she was not in their system and that they did not have a tour scheduled that day. Then, she finally figured it out and the caller could hear her turn to someone and ask them to come and pick us up. She stated that they would be coming. It was still over an hour that we waited for the pickup. Not a good way to start the day nor a good evaluation for this company. Also, there were two persons on the trip that had a helicopter ride scheduled and were told that they were not scheduled for that either....although they had paid for it. They were told that they did not have helicopter trips on Saturday. Totally irresponsible. This trip should have been at least partially refunded for all the screw ups on the part of this company.
To note, the bus that they provided for this tour was extremely small and uncomfortable. The seats were worse that those on an airplane with a isle that even the smallest of people had to squeeze through. To spend 8 hours on this was not a good time.
To save the day we did get a good tour guide and he made the day pleasurable and fun. It was not his fault that the company screwed up and thank goodness the trip that he was supposed to have that day was cancelled.....otherwise I guess we could have just been standing at the airport all day waiting for a return flight His name was Gabriel and he was very good and tried his best to make up for the downfall of the company.
All in all we got to see the National Park which was the whole point of the trip and even though I know our time was cut short due to their inadequate system/communication, we had a good time. Still would not rate the company well nor recommend them to anyone.
