Excellent! - Highly knowledgeable & super fun instructors made for a great learning experience on the water! We had never SUP before but our instructor was very patient and encouraging to get us up on our boards. It was a very small group so the surf instructor also put us on some waves! So much fun!

Awesome!!! - THIS EXPERIENCE WAS AMAZING AND DOES NOT DISAPPOINT!! Reed took my husband and I out to SUP and he was awesome. We had a quick little stretch and then learned the basic ways to turn and how to stand up. We got in the water and he checked we could turn in the actual water and off we went. He continued to give us little tie bits as we went along to help us. Both of us were successful and able to stand up and paddle. Highly recommend. Everyone was extremely nice and friendly. If we’re ever back in Hawai’i we’ll be back to learn to surf.

Great First Time SUP - Our whole family went SUP for the first time and the Ohana Surf Project did a great job! Both of our instructors, Kevin and Chelsea, were amazing teachers with lots of patience and good advice. They made it a lot of fun for all of us and took some great pictures!

First time SUP - thanks for the great time! - My daughter convinced me to SUP with her on our last day. I am so glad we did! Kevin was a great teacher and made the entire experience enjoyable. They had all of the gear we needed and were easy to find. From the Marriott, it was a quick walk down the beach to a slightly less crowded area. We even saw turtles!

not bad - i thought the lesson would be 1 hr but it was 1 and a half. they explained things very clearly and it was easy to follow but the time spent explaining could have been shorter. around 30-40 mins was spent getting the gear and explaining how things worked. it is important to show how to paddleboard but for me, learning though experience is easier than for a teacher dictating “this is how you should do things and all other ways are either wrong or dangerous.” they were good teachers, not so good at explaining. the group was well put together and the location was not hard to find. the photos they took were awesome but when the teachers loved the pense of the gopro i found it disgusting. overall good but it depends if by the end you like paddleboarding or not.
