Great Experience - Our tour was great and was so much more than we had expected! Johnny Aloha added a few extra stops. He was fun and informative.

A day on Oahu - The communication and logistics for the tour were proactive and went as expected. The time at Pearl Harbor was good and allowed for us to take the ferry and watch the movie. The Dole plantation is really just a stop for pineapple whip. There is not time for the train or any actual tour or history of the property. I love the Polynesian Cultural Center. I had been there before and thought the time was rushed. I wish we had more time there. We stopped at a coffee/macadamia store on the way back after the Cultural Center and I wish we had skipped that unscheduled stop and maximized the time at our planned stop. Overall everyone was very friendly and our driver provided thoughtful commentary as we drove the island.

Late tour guide. - Viator did a nice job setting things up. The Southwest flight was enjoyable, however our gate changed on our return and we were not notified. The tour was very nice. The places we went were great. Our tour guide was late in picking us up at the airport, so our time felt rushed at all our stops. All in all, it was a good day!

Hot shuttle and too expensive - We were told to meet at 6:20am at a different hotel to pick us up than the one we were staying at. The shuttle came and we went to get on and our names were not on the list to be picked up even though it was through the same touring company. I called and was told that the shuttle was on the way and that they were running late. The other driver from the first shuttle stated that we may be picked up on the other side of the hotel so when I called I asked where we were supposed to meet the driver and was told we would be picked up at the same area the first driver picked up the other couple up at. We waited and saw our driver drive by and go to the other side of the hotel, luckily it wasn’t too far away. The tour guides were amazing and knowledgable giving lots of information and we were able to learn a lot. My only issue was the bus was almost full and we were in the back of the shuttle where the air conditioning was not cooling us down and it was incredibly uncomfortable for most of the tour. I appreciated the additional stops we took to places that were not listed on the tour description. I wasn’t expecting to be taken somewhere to buy lunch because I was under the impression lunch would be provided at the Polynesian Cultural Center. By the time we got to the Polynesian Cultural Center we waited in the hot shuttle for the tickets to be given to us and when we finally got the tickets and headed towards the center we were so hot and uncomfortable we ended up not even going and opted to go to an air conditioned restaurant in the shopping center to cool down, relax and do a little shopping in the area. I am thankful we were able to see Pearl Harbor but the time allotted was a bit too long and there wasn’t enough time at the Dole plantation to really see anything. Both of those experiences I have come to find out are free and what we really were paying for was the Polynesian Culture Center which we didn’t even go to along with the transportation which was not comfortable and left us thinking we should have just ubered to the locations.
